  1. Anyone catching this movie in theatres? I love baseball movies and no better story has been told than what Robinson had to go through as the player ultimately breaking down the color barrier in Major League Baseball.

I'm thinking I'll check it out Sunday when I'm off work.

  2. I'll wait for this one to come out on the movie channels.
  3. It looks so well done though. That trailer makes my pants wet.
  4. Yep, but I don't have anyone to go with
  5. I'm not a baseball fan but the story looks dope so I'll watch.
  6. Who cares. Get stoned to the gills and hit up a Sunday matinee like a :boss:
  7. Times are different now man. I never get stoned, but Sunday is really the only day I get to spend with family due to stupid work.
  8. Take the family then. I'm sure the wife and kids would enjoy it and learn from it.
  9. Nah, the wife is a racist :lol1:

    Show Spoiler
That was a joke, before anyone gets "offended"
  10. Senhor's wife hates non Canadians :notamused:
  11. I never watch Baseball, but for some reason I love Baseball movies.
  12. Have you seen 61?
  13. 61 was awesome. I wish I was around to see that. Sadly I was born a year later WAKKA WAKKA :jeritroll:
  14. Setting myself up for rape, but no. It's not a movie genre I actually seek to watch, though I should, but I do tend to enjoy most baseball movies I see. If you recommend it I'll go download it now.
  15. It's about Roger Maris' record breaking HR season. Great acting, great story, great movie.
  16. I'll probably wait until it comes out on the movie channels or Netflix. It looks like it will be a great movie though!
  17. See what Senhor said.

It's my favorite baseball movie and focuses on the HR chase on 1961 between Micky Mantle and Roger Maris.

I know you are an IMDB mark, so 7.7
  18. I've seen moneyball, the book was decent too.
  19. That's right, Crayslow. Roger Maris was a sniper in Saving Private Ryan
