Cody will feud with Santino, beat him for the title and face Christian to unify the titles?
Maybe. Although I wonder why not just unify the titles between Cody and Santino and then have the winner (Rhodes) face Christian. Would have been better just to say Rhodes was the one who got to unify the belts, unless that would be what they would end up doing anyway with Rhodes/Christian.
IDK Where you guys get this idea of unifying the titles, but is rather funny.
Wishful thinking, I suppose.
Just chucking theories around
Would be cool, can see it..
'The United States Intercontinental Championship'
I just hope they book Christian in a way that he can elevate the mid card belt instead of what I fear will happen, the belt will just drag him down to it's shitty level.
Christian Should be going after the World Title not the IC! WTF WWE?
Maybe he should, but I think WWE wants younger champs.
"Omg midcard sucks they should revamp it with actual superstars right?"
"OMG Christian is now in the midcard? wtf stupid WWE"
All I can say is I hope you're right.
They're going to unify the united states and IC titles. The same thing was done with the european championship and the IC in 2002 so that means it will be a combination of the united states, intercontinental and european titles.
They should rename it as the World title
I hope it is Rhodes that unifies it though.
Like I said, I hope they book him in a way that he can bring some credibility to the mid card, but it will likely be the opposite effect (Christian losing credibility and becoming irrelevant)
last night was already a shining example of what I feared. Do they put him into a feud? no. Do they give him an opponent worth wrestling? no. Did anyone in the crowd give a rat's ass about his match? no. Obviously it was only one night, but I don't envision them putting effort into Christian with any sort of meaningful feud or storyline.
I could see them unifying the titles, it's possible. I don't think it'll happen though. And I hope Christian brings the midcard up, and is not brought down by it. But it's still the same Creative...
