Although "Breaking Bad" will no doubt go down in history as one of the best TV shows of all time, series creator Vince Gilligan has one small regret: Jesse Pinkman's (Aaron Paul) perfect teeth.

"I wish Jesse’s teeth had been a little more realistic, a little more messed up ... [Jesse] smoked a lot of meth, and that smoke eats the enamel right off of teeth," Gilligan told EW.

"And furthermore, this poor kid got beat up two or three times a season ... and his teeth were still absolutely perfect," he continued. "So if we could’ve done a little something to them … But on the other hand, Aaron is such a good-looking guy that maybe that counts as poetic license that we kept his teeth looking nice."

Luckily, Gilligan may have another chance with Jesse's teeth if he appears on the "Breaking Bad" spinoff "Better Call Saul."

"Personally, I'd have a hard time resisting putting all these guys in for a cameo or two every now and then," Gilligan told THR in October of the spinoff, which will center on the life of everyone's favorite sleazy lawyer, Saul Goodman (Bob Odenkirk).
"Better Call Saul" is set to premiere later this year.

  2. No one cares about a Saul Goodman show!? :dafuq: :upset:

  3. I do. Mainly because I want to have the most homoish relationship with this show and Saul.

  5. Saul was the best character by a mile on BB. I expect his spin off to be the shit.

    1.) Saul
    2.) Gus
    3.) Mike

  8. My biggest issue was Jesse did not die. I suppose it was a time/money issue stopping them from using makeup effects to make his teeth look bad in the show?

He is amazing but didn't have a very long run.

  10. Jessie had excellent dental hygiene bro

  13. So is this show a prequel like I keep hearing? seems like it would be a lot harder to write than a sequel

  14. Yep, but in a interview they don't know if they will go into the future/after Breaking Bad yet.

  17. Eh, Jesse's teeth still being white is hardly the only thing you need to suspend disbelief on in this show. And am I the only one who isn't looking forward to the Saul Goodman spinoff? I loved him as a supporting character in BB, but not sure if I'd care to see him as the main character throughout an entire show of his own.

  18. That character desperately needs its own show. He stole every scene he was in and it's not like people tire of seeing him. it's a legendary character, the epitome of a breakout character

  19. :gtfo: All's I see him as is some corny southern boy from Friday Night Lights.

  20. oh hell no you respect Todd!!
