ATTACK! ICW Progress British Wrestling Discussion.

Discussion in 'International Wrestling' started by Forrest OAKADA, Jul 7, 2015.

  1. Discuss here the British Wrestling Scene and the various promotions and stars in it, from Progress Wrestling to ATTACK, from the well known names to the Big names.

I'll kick us off with the current card for Progress Chapter 20: Beyond Thunderbastard, which will be updated later as more matches are announced.

And then there's Chaos Wrestling, Who in my opinion, have been improving their shows ever since their debut and this is there card for their next show in Bristol, "Hell is for Heroes":

And Last night, I was able to get tickets to ATTACK Pro Wrestling's annual "Press Start" event, which sold out in 20 minutes, longer than Mark Andrews' final show but still leaves an impression for the company.

So, Discuss British Wrestling, Old and New.
  2. Needs a ressurection to talk about the other British Indies going on apart from Progress and RPW.

ATTACK dropped this match from August on youtube.

    • Funny Funny x 1
  4. Joe Hendry you magnificent bastard
    • Agree Agree x 1
  5. Joe Hendry's awesome!
  6. LOL da fuck.
  7. This is only the start of the journey down the Joe Hendry rabbit hole
  8. This is a Joe Hendry tribute thread, right?

  9. You'd think with being a wrestler and also training for the Olympics, Hendry wouldn't have enough free time for making all these videos.

In other news: Zack Sabre Jr won Europe's biggest wrestling tournament, WXW's 16 Carat Gold tonight, tapping out Axel Dietr Jr in the main event in front of a sold out crowd of 750 people in Oberhaussen, Germany.
  10. LolSabreWins? He's a hell of a run isn't he?
  11. He'll be in Paulcountry by the end of the year. So whatever indies he works are making use of him while they can I guess.
  12. Unfortunately this thread will turn abit sour now, Kris Travis (Luigi in the video posted in the OP) has passed due to Cancer.

  13. Mainly just seen the stuff he did in Progress. Sucks that he pulled through, was even able to wrestle again, and then go downhill in such a short span.
    E-GO. R.I.P
  14. Absolutely awful news. He was one of the trailblazers for the British scene getting to where it is today. Shame he could not be among us long enough to reap the benefits/rewards.
  15. A week gone tomorrow.
    Sleep easy Trav.
  16. I think they show them matches on challenge tv o wrelstetalk tv
  17. As one of my trainers (El Ligero) said to the class the other day.
British wrestling has never been more popular than right now. We have British wrestling on Etc
I can't remember exactly what he said but that sums it up nicely.
  18. I always talk about them to Stop whenever I can but now, ATTACK have released their biggest event onto Vimeo and DVD.

    Here's the trailer:

The last three matches are well worth it, especially the main event.
  19. So. Ospreay has a torn meniscus and liquid building up in one of his knees and one of his feet is going numb due to a back injury he sustained a while back. This was all revealed by himself on the Sroobius Pip podcast.

Dude's 22. Dude will be retired by 25 at this rate
