  2. Hopefully CoC ends up being a good PPV.

  3. So, what do you all think will be MOTN?

  4. Card looks excellent! :yay:

...kinda crazy to say this, but Sheamus vs Cesaro Match 7. Last time they were on PPV they had that classic at NoC 2014.
Their Raw matches have been kinda meh lately because they've been holding back to blow the roof off here :yay:

Either that or Rusev/Reigns... if it's better than their good Raw match...
I'll check this show out the week after - as usual - but probably will see the ratings thread first to see how much the finish pissed everyone off. :haha:

  5. I actually think most of the matches will have screwy finishes, considering that HIAC is the next PPV and we all know feuds will culminate there. LOL

But yeah, Cesaro vs Sheamus is a top contender for MOTN.

KO vs Rollins will probably be good up until the finish, too.

Oh, and I'm hyped for TJP vs Kendrick.

  6. :lol1:

  7. I'd love it if CoC ended up being such a nice surprise and a good show with no screwy finishes (well, everything except for KO/Rollins).

But, as that song goes: "Hoping for the best, but expecting the worst."

  8. Sheamus vs. Cesaro will be big even though it's dragged out, they gotta have a grand finale for this planned, oh and one them has to get a universal title shot because of this.

Zayn vs. Jericho will also be holy balls gold

And Owens vs. Rollins, and so will Rusev vs. Reigns... And so will the Triple Threat and- shit the only bad match on his card is the Nia Jax match XD

  9. Whoever gets a Universal title shot loses.

But, if either Cesaro or Sheamus get a shot at the US title (preferably Cesaro), there's a slight chance of them winning or at least I'd like to think so.

  10. I just want this best of 7 series to be worth something I don't care if they lose the title match just make them run red hot

  11. :annoyed:

I love how Lucha Underground was like "shit, we have 4 guys at Ultima Lucha Dos who have nothing to do. Lets put them in a Unique Opportunity Tournament!" they said that and we all marked out, because you know "unique opportunity" means something. It'll wind up meaning a lot and being very entertaining, and wah-lah! They delivered!

this whole Sheamus/Cesaro feud is SCREAMING out to me "Hey! Lets let these two dudes fight each other a bunch of times for... :quimby: fuck it we'll figure it out later"

I'm betting a US title match in the second hour of Raw that ends in DQ, because they've built that pessimism into us. 1.88

(yeah the Drago/Aerostar series is likely more accurate, but that established the Unique Opportunity as being awesome. This might do the same but...)

  12. Spot on.

I think crazy, old Vince booked Cesaro vs Sheamus in a Best of 7 Series simply because he wanted to troll everyone who complains about 50/50 booking.

  13. Among those trolls are Cesaro and Sheamus themselves

  14. Sooo, we can expect bets and predictions tomorrow, yeah? @Solidus

  15. Today, shortly.

  16. More money para mi? Exelente!

I'm looking forward to this one, I didn't manage to stay up for Backlash (I'm 23 now, old man bones keeping me down), but I'm hoping I can get some sleep before hand and watch this one live.

The card is good, hoping there aren't as many screwy finishes as there could be. Owens should be leaving with the belt again, though a Rollins win here would be a nice swerve too. So long as Trips doesn't appear I'd be happy.

  17. Yeah, yeah, no problemo. Was just curious. You doing 'em every month is appreciated! :)

  18. I'm... Pretty sure I read that Triple H has been writing the shows lately, but... dirtsheets gonna dirtsheets. :lol1: Elephino, you're probably right!

I heard a good point of "good wrestling solves everything" though, so this card being so damn good means we should still be happy!
Just with Smack-Chat Luke up there I wish I could be optimistic enough to realize that and not think this is going to be a mess of bad finishes. Someone talk me into it! Alexb, are you there?

  19. Well... Regardless of who writes the shows, Vince still has the final say-so, right? I doubt anything happens without his authorization (except for NXT), but whatever.

Usually, when we think the show's gonna have a bunch of screwy finishes, WWE swerves us and the show ends up being a nice surprise.

And of course, there are times when we are hoping for a good show, WWE swerves us and we end up being disappointed.

I don't know what to make of this PPV. It's got a good card and the show's supposed to be good, right?

But, considering HIAC is the next RAW PPV, this show screams "SCREWY FINISHES!", which will lead to a lot of feuds culminating at HIAC.

Idk, I guess we'll see. Hope can be a bitch, so I guess I'll remain indifferent and just roll with it. If it's a good show, then good. If it's a bad one, then oh well.

  20. I know I'm quoting WhatCulture when I say it, but if this PPV ends with a tonne of screwy finishes then it'll be New Era, same old shit.
