  1. Daniel Bryan is writing an autobiography to come out in time for Wrestlemania 31. Bryan officially announced the book at the San Diego Comic Con today. Below is the cover photo and synopsis from St. Martin's Press:

"Everyone’s favorite underdog, he’s proven to the world and to all of WWE that looks can be deceiving. This is the behind-the-scenes story told for the first time ever — from his beginnings as a child wanting to wrestle to his ten years on the circuit before finally making it in WWE."

  6. D.B proves that charisma, style and ntural talent mean nothing. Its all hard work and confidence, at the end of the day. He is an inspriation for us wrestling fans, and shows us we can make it in life.

D.B is not a peacock, but he gets the job done. Best worker in the business except for Orton

  7. I was just fucking with you because you're a cool dude. Besides I like variety in threads.. you know yin and yang and all that shit.

  8. I wonder if the book will be as boring and bland as most of his promos are?

  11. his promos are as sound as a dollar pound

no jokes, just straight to the point

if i wanted to laugh i would watch Cena's crappy attempts at wrestling

  12. Is it going to be him actually doing the writing or a ghost writer? Can't say i'll care either way tbh, nothing against the guy but I was never a book guy, especially autobiographies of wrestlers :p I watch a DVD now and again though but great news if you're a DB mark though.

  13. He's writing it himself...no ghost writer or "as told to".

  14. Nice or terrible, depending on which side you're on :p

  15. I'm so bored just thinking about this book. "Nobody thought I could be a pro wrestler!! I trained hard!!! High school gyms and armories!"

dude we heard this boring ass story 10 X during the build to your match with Cena at SS last year.

  16. it gives inspiratuon to us wrestling fans though, its shows us we can make it, at the end of the day

  17. I like reading wrestler's autobiographies to get the inside story on matches, backstage happenings.. stuff like that. His in ring promos are written by WWE writers.. this will be from his standpoint.. a completely different thing than any promo he's ever done. Mick Foley's books are some of the most entertaining I've ever read. I'm sure as many years as Bryan was in the indy wrestling scene and now his WWE career that's he's got some interesting stories to tell as well. I'm going to read it just for that purpose... simply because I love wrestling.

  18. Watched his DVD from before WWE, so I won't be getting the book. I'd rather have documentary DVDs since you get at least a few matches.

  20. If the way he is shown on Total Divas is more like his real self that is writing this book it could be entertaining I guess. But I'm with @NeoPHX - majority of WWE books I've read aren't all that great. Mick Foley's was pretty good though, but he's an awesomely creative guy anyway so it didn't surprise me. The Lita and Hardy Boys ones were crap, but I liked that they had pics in the middle of the book lol.
