Theories If the world did end, how would it happen?

  1. If the world were to end, how would it happen?

I know some religions have something called, "Judgement Day" and stuff, but the only way I see it is a nuclear war or some asteroid. That or it's just not ending. I doubt the world is going to end anytime soon or at all. It's just to get people talking.
  2. I'd go with a nuclear war (which wouldn't wipe out the world). Then people start dying from radiation/diseases/etc.

I really doubt that some life force is going to come down and give me judgement.

  3. Nuclear war, starving of the general public if/when the dollar collapses - depending on how it all goes down - but idk how much i believe from the way too many conspiracy docs/books/etc.

I know there was a great video showing how the radiation effects people, a lot of 2nd and 3rd generational sterility.

  4. The "world" as in Earth probably isn't going anywhere for a long time. But humans and most (if not all) that is living is going to die. I like the idea of Apocalypse; just total destruction, war, chaos, etc. Could see it happening, eventually the atmosphere/weather on Earth is going to go haywire, and eventually there will be a massive war I'm sure. Would be cool if all that happened simultaneously.
  5. War or Zombies.....yes I know zombies probably won't happen but meh you never know with chemical war

The signs of the final hour can be divided into two groups.
    1) Minor signs
Minor signs are events of normal nature prophesised by our Prophet Muhammed [IMG] to take place before Qiyamah like the consumption of alcohol, lifting ofknowledge and prevalence of ignorance and immorality and signs of this nature. The majority of the minor signs have appeared while some are occurring and some will appear with major signs.
    2) Major signs
Major signs ae events of extraordinary nature prophesied by our Prophet [IMG] to take place before Qiyamah like all the events mentioned in the following hadith narrated by Hudhaifa ibn Usayd that the Prophet [IMG] said, 'The last hour will not arrive till you have seen ten signs. He [IMG] then mentioned the Smoke, Dajjal, Beast, Rising of the Sun from the place of it's setting, the Descent of Isa, Ya'juj Ma'juj, Three Landslides, one in the East , one in the West and one in the Arabian Peninsula after that a Fire would spread from Yemen and drive the people to their place of gathering.' (Muslim)

This book written by the Ulama of the Institute is a concise summary of only the major events leading up to the Day of Judgement. Each of the following signs: Mahdi, Dajjal, Descension of Isa, Ya'juj Ma'juj, Landslides, Smoke, Rising of the Sun from the east, Beast and the Fire are explained in detail. The supporting evidences are written at the end of every section and have been taken from various authentic Hadith collections.

Then I saw a great white throne and him who was seated on it. From his presence earth and sky fled away, and no place was found for them. And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Then another book was opened, which is the book of life. And the dead were judged by what was written in the books, according to what they had done. And the sea gave up the dead who were in it, Death and Hades gave up the dead who were in them, and they were judged, each one of them, according to what they had done. Then Death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death, the lake of fire. And if anyone's name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire.

    Revelation 20:1-15 ESV / 61 helpful votes
Then I saw an angel coming down from heaven, holding in his hand the key to the bottomless pit and a great chain. And he seized the dragon, that ancient serpent, who is the devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years, and threw him into the pit, and shut it and sealed it over him, so that he might not deceive the nations any longer, until the thousand years were ended. After that he must be released for a little while. Then I saw thrones, and seated on them were those to whom the authority to judge was committed. Also I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for the testimony of Jesus and for the word of God, and those who had not worshiped the beast or its image and had not received its mark on their foreheads or their hands. They came to life and reigned with Christ for a thousand years. The rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were ended. This is the first resurrection.

But according to his promise we are waiting for new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells.

This is evidence of the righteous judgment of God, that you may be considered worthy of the kingdom of God, for which you are also suffering— since indeed God considers it just to repay with affliction those who afflict you, and to grant relief to you who are afflicted as well as to us, when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven with his mighty angels in flaming fire, inflicting vengeance on those who do not know God and on those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus. And they woke him and said to him, “Teacher, do you not care that we are perishing?” And he awoke and rebuked the wind and said to the sea, “Peace! Be still!” And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm.

The word of the Lord that came to Joel, the son of Pethuel: Hear this, you elders; give ear, all inhabitants of the land! Has such a thing happened in your days, or in the days of your fathers? Tell your children of it, and let your children tell their children, and their children to another generation. What the cutting locust left, the swarming locust has eaten. What the swarming locust left, the hopping locust has eaten, and what the hopping locust left, the destroying locust has eaten. Awake, you drunkards, and weep, and wail, all you drinkers of wine, because of the sweet wine, for it is cut off from your mouth.

    The word of the Lord came to me: “Son of man, set your face toward Gog, of the land of Magog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal, and prophesy against him and say, Thus says the Lord God: Behold, I am against you, O Gog, chief prince of Meshech and Tubal. And I will turn you about and put hooks into your jaws, and I will bring you out, and all your army, horses and horsemen, all of them clothed in full armor, a great host, all of them with buckler and shield, wielding swords. Persia, Cush, and Put are with them, all of them with shield and helmet;

Listen to me in silence, O coastlands; let the peoples renew their strength; let them approach, then let them speak; let us together draw near for judgment.

My son, beware of anything beyond these. Of making many books there is no end, and much study is a weariness of the flesh. The end of the matter; all has been heard. Fear God and keep his commandments, for this is the whole duty of man. For God will bring every deed into judgment, with every secret thing, whether good or evil.

Even on the male and female servants in those days I will pour out my Spirit. “And I will show wonders in the heavens and on the earth, blood and fire and columns of smoke. The sun shall be turned to darkness, and the moon to blood, before the great and awesome day of the Lord comes. And it shall come to pass that everyone who calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved. For in Mount Zion and in Jerusalem there shall be those who escape, as the Lord has said, and among the survivors shall be those whom the Lord calls.

Therefore the wicked will not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous; for the Lord knows the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked will perish.

Not taking shots at any religion. Just somewhat interesting.

  10. I'd say nuclear warfare as well. Some Fallout type shit.
Doubt anything would happen to the earth like some giant meteor knocking it off it's place or something.

  11. Nuclear war

Or a nuclear war started by Skynet.
  12. Nuclear war or chemical war (Creation of a lethal virus)
Or whenever the sun "dies" (Long way to go though)
  13. I would go with my dreams of the moon hitting the earth... But I find that hard to believe it would happen. Been haven them damn nightmares since I was a child. lol

The world, itself, wont go anywhere. This going green garbage is bs. The earth is capable of taking care of itself. As for the people... Not so lucky. I am going to break this down into steps of what I think will happen.

1.) New laws are brought into nations, one world currency, ect.
2.) Not all will agree, this will cause a world war. (food, supplies, ect will be on lock down)
3.) America will likely go through another civil war, the poor waging against the rich and powerful.
4.) This in turn will turn into people being thrown in prison camps, being killed, or being slaved off to other countries.
5.) The war will bring famine and disease from epidemics and food shortages.
6.) More new laws will be enforced to better control the people, those who deny it, won't be able to buy/sell anything (including food)
7.) People will be dying at a higher rate then any other time in history, the dead bodies laying all over will bring more disease to the world.
8.) The new diseases will turn into a zombie type apocalypse (the dead walking the earth) - yes that sounds crazy as hell but we all know I am.
9.) Nuclear war will then break out in an effort to kill off the zombies, only causing the earth's surface to be mostly destroyed.
10.) those who managed to live will no longer have clean water, food sources, ect. Because of the high levels of plant loss, the oxygen will be diluted.
11.) People will continue to die until no one is left.

    Thee End.

I can go all Christian on your arses, but you can pretty much find everything I stated above in the bible. And yes, the bible does mention zombies. Many religious beliefs, including the Mayans, do as well. I don't care if I am called crazy for any of this either so don't waste your time. lol

  14. Sun exploding or a massive meteor.
  15. I don't think any can predict exactly what's going to happen, especially not step by step. Regardless of religion or "conspiracy" facts and such.

Anyway, I change my vote to (staged?) alien invasion.

  16. whatever one looks the coolest and is the least painful is what im going towards. Whoops edit: that is why alien staged invasion would work.

Yeah the step by step guides are bullshit, but the chips on the hands people are getting, that shit worries me for real for real.

  18. They will walk into it gladly dude. Some of the dudes on the conspiracy forums just love talking about their surveillance system, even going to the point of saying we should all just have our DNA taken, that way it will "stop crimes/make police jobs easier."

My argument there is pretty simple, who really wants people to know where they always are? I dont have a cell atm, and dont intend on getting it. Sure, you can ping my laptop, but that's not really the point. Also the mark of the beast part from Revelations conspiracy vids are pretty awesome, or insanely hilarious. Win win

  19. Yeah, I really don't understand how some people can fully welcome being watched, all the fucking time. I mean there's hardly anything to do anymore, and I find it interesting more than anything, so I'm not really "doing anything about it" but people who are actually okay or even want all this to happen are just fucking retarded.
