News Inaugural Recipient of 'The Warrior' Award

Discussion in 'General WWE' started by Roadster, Mar 9, 2015.

  1. Connor “The Crusher” Michalek, the 7-8 year old boy that was subject to much of Daniel Bryan's success story, was announced as the inaugural recipient of 'The Warrior' award. Which is equivalent to a Lifetime Achievement award, or something like CNN Hero's.

  5. Wore my warrior shirt to work today and just watched raw. Go Connor!!!!
  6. Truly good news. There ain't gonna be a single dry eye in the house the night before WrestleMania.

  8. He beat triple H and retired undefeated, yo. GOAT, RIP
  9. Curious if his folks will give the speech or Steph and Hunter will.

It could understandably be entirely too hard for his parents to give a speech about. That's unimaginable pain.

  11. I'd assume one of his parents accepts the award.

As for the inductor: Dana Warrior (Warrior's wife) has offered to do the inducting herself. If she gets to is yet to be seen.
  12. That's no ones call except the parents and Vince really.

I get it's an inaugural award for Warrior but his wife doing the speech sounds odd to me
  13. Wasn't sure who Connor was until last night. The Warrior award should become an annual award. It's great they're doing this for Connor and i'm sure it means a lot to his family as well.
