Is Punk back full time?

Discussion in 'RAW' started by Stopspot, Jun 17, 2013.

  1. After having watched the Payback match I have to ask this. Do you guys think Punk is back full time?
He didn't look to be on his game mentally last night. He seemed very disinterested if you ask me. Maybe unmotivated is a better word. I'm not sure on if it was just part of the act or if he really doesn't care anymore. With this being rumored to be the last year on his contract, do you guys think he will be back full time sooner or later?

    Discuss.

  2. I'm guessing it's just a storyline thing. Still think this is the beginnings of some sort of turn on Heyman.

  3. I think he just didn't want to be there. He was suppose to stay away longer, but the way this was booked, it seemed like it was a forced thing.

  4. He looked fine imo, him and Jericho pulled out another good match.

  5. Huh? He looked like he didn't care? Not sure what match you watched dude...

If anything, he looked a bit tired. That's normal considering he hasn't worked a match for two months, and probably doesn't do much cardio work.

  6. Still in better shape that an active Sheamus. :dawg:

  7. He looked motivated to me, jericho vs punk was MOTN.

  8. I thought the match was great. I'm almost sure he'll be back full time, I hope that's the case.

  9. Hope he stays.

  10. Absolutely not.

  11. Dz vs ADR was better, although Punk sold his distressed character so well.

  12. Some thing about Punk didn't seem right. I hope it's just part of a up coming story line, but I didn't really get into the match tbh.

  13. For me it was the better match just my opinion.

  14. Typical Punk match vs Epic double turn match telling an amazing story

I guess I just don't understand your opinion, unless you are a die hard punk mark or something

  15. says the diehard zigglesmark lol. I am not a big punk fan at all i just thought it was a better match compared to the whc match which was although had a good double turn does not mean the match was better as the better wrestling was in the punk one.

  16. I'm not sure that he'll be full time right away. I'm sure he'll build up to being full time with a storyline. He has been gone for a while so he might need some time to get into shape again.

  17. Of course he is.

  18. I guess if you are into bare bones wrestling, but we see matches like that one all the time. It was nothing special. The Ziggler/Del Rio match was unique and the type of storytelling match you rarely see in today's product. I am a Ziggler mark sure, but I see more people than just myself praising the match to no end. It was much more than a typical good WWE style match with a few false finishes off of signature moves

  19. I can see your point and it did not have tons of finshers and counters to sig moves which wwe overdue but if the match went on a little longer and was not as one sided it could of been really great but apart from the crowd and the double turn it did nothing for me wrestling wise and i will not remember, i will not really remember y2j and punk clash but it was the match i was more into and cared about simple as that.

  20. Well I can't argue with any of this :pity:
