  2. As a new song echos around the arena, the crowd look at the stage, confused at the music and who this might be. The confusion soon turns into cheers and boos as Reagan Cole walks out in a dark grey hoodie and Reagan looks around, clearly alot more serious than his normal self as he doesn't even try to pander to the crowd and Reagan walks down the ramp with his eyes set on the ring before him then he enters the ring through the middle rope and over to the right side of the ring to get a microphone then Cole sits down in the corner, legs stretched out. He feels the mixed feelings towards him but he just looks at the Uprising set where he knows that his opponent will come out as he begins to speak

Reagan: Y'know, People do different things when they're sitting in that backstage area, each of them having their own distinct routine. Some of them exercise, some of them read, others take a trip to catering. Me, I sit there. Just like this. I sit there and take in my surroundings, and specifically, I watch everyone else. I study their body language, I listen to what they're saying, I watch what they're doing. And in my most recent observation, I found myself wondering what it's like to be each of the titleholders I saw. Not what it's like to be a champion, because I know that experience from my own career, but what it's like to be the individual holding the belt, because as I looked around, I didn't see people who had pride while having the belt. Most of them act like they are mega-stars, they only show up to do their match and take the money. Same with Michael, same with Aids Johnson. Meanwhile people like Corey Marcus and Chris Young show up and try their hardest and they barely make it onto the posters for the event. And it's not right so I'm here to right the wrong by winning the championship Jack Forte have over his shoulder.

Cheap pop because Two Wrongs Makes A right was a team Cole was apart of but again, Reagan doesn't even acknowledge it

Reagan: But I want you to listen to me Forte. People say that I have been on a good luck road as of late and how I have somehow managed to pull a victory out of nowhere, again and again. But those People say my luck will eventually run out. They all expect me to have some sort of bad luck. They expect me now to have that bad luck after losing Scott Fargo and they now expect me to fall back into place at the bottom of the card fighting local competitors. Well I will tell you something. The bad luck that I had when I first arrived, it's slowly vanishing and soon it will be gone.

I'm a wrestler, I am the most high-flying, electrifying, trail blazing and truly amazing wrestler in IWT. That is something I breathe daily. Forte, everyone has tried to asphyxiate me at some point. I've been put on the shelf once, nobody has been able to repeat that. Because Forte...The man you're facing today is a man who's been through it all. I've had my fair share of obstacles I've had to climb in order to make it here, and I'm proud to say that I didn't take the easy road to get here. I had to scratch, claw, and bite my way to make to this title match. I've been all around the world, and I've made a name for myself. People know who Reagan Cole is. They know what I am able to do inside this ring but not what my full capability is. Jack, I will give it to you. You're a great wrestler. You wouldn't be in your position if you weren't but it's about time that title scene had a little mix-up don't you think?

Reagan uses the ropes at each side of him and hoists himself up but he keeps the stare at the Uprising stage, waiting for Jack Forte to show up

  3. As the song kicks on Forté's titantron lights up the darkened arena. Jack slowly enters through the entrance curtain. Visibly still hurt, but probably the best he's looked in a while. Blue smoke cloaks him, but his all white attire makes it easy to be seen. He half-limps down to the ring, but doesn't enter the ring.

Reagan Cole, it's about damn time. I remember a couple of weeks ago I appeared on the tron behind me, and I proposed we do our match. The same exact week that I was permitted into the hospital, with serious injuries. As soon as I left, I came here. Just to grant you this title match. And as weak as I was, you failed to accept. You didn't want to do it. You felt that you had a better chance to win a brand new title, than to face me at perhaps my lowest time. And we know how that played out. Now you're forced to go against me, because these shots don't come by often.

Forté enters the ring and stands toe to toe with Reag.

Despite trying to hold out on this match for as long as you can, I am not underestimating you. I realize that within the archives of the IWT, some of the most unlikely wrestlers are able to win when all the odds are stacked against them. So I am not taking you lightly, Reag.

But if you were a spectator, you probably would think that all the odds are stacked against ME! I got the Bullad Club ready at the front, that could attack me at any moment. They could come out here, distract me, and cost me my title. Then there's Bishop, he could do the same. But he'd probably just try to finish the job, instead of humiliating me. Not to mention that I'm barely a hundred percent.

But that's why my title is viewed as one of the most prestigious, because regardless of all of that I'm still here. And I'll be here, title or no title. You can say what you think, that I show up when I want, that I'm just in it for the money. But I know better, and you're going to learn that tonight.

  4. Reagan Cole stares at Forte with slight rage and a annoyed look in his eyes as he starts to speak into the microphone again

Reagan: Look at this, you didn't even bring your title out here with you. You say how your belt is so prestigious but you don't bring it into this ring, why not? That doesn't make sense to me because a champion should bring his title to everywhere he goes and you look like you just forgot it at the hospital. Another question for you, Do you want to know why I didn't face you then? Because like you said, you were at your lowest time. And like I said before, I don't take the easy road so you might not be 100% and you might not have your full attention on me which is your mistake. Bishop. Ballad Club. I dislike both of them, hell. If they come out here and start causing madness, I might help taking them on. But in the end of the day ever since you got that title around your waist, you knew that this was going to happen. You knew you would get automatic targets on your back. So don't think I'm going to hold back just because you’re scared that some people may appear out of nowhere.

Reagan breaks out a slight smirk at the thought of beating down either Ballad Club or Bishop

Cole: Like I said before you're a great wrestler but I have to beat you. I have to gain redemption for when I was a joke and when everybody in this crowd knew I was going to lose every single match. Do you know what that feels like? Nah, I don't think you do because before I came here I was atop of my "fight club" or whatever you want call it. I destroyed the guys in there. And when I first came here, I thought this was going to be the same thing and I was taught the hard way by my peers that it wasn't going to be that way and when I tried to "adjust" my style. It was already too late. I was at the bottom of the food chain. And when I came back, it was with one goal and that was to win championship gold and I messed up with the first time because Michael didn't approve of me so he threw a monster at me. The same monster that just left IWT a couple of weeks ago. Funny how that works but that isn’t the point. The point is I want that title. And I don't want it because of nostalgia. I don't want it because it might add some zeros to my pay check. I need it so people don't look back on my career as a joke. So people don't remember me as the guy who always lost and hardly won.

You got heart for the company, I can see that but I have the electricity of these fans and I have something you lost. The will and determination to raise the title after the match while the ring announcer screams your name as the victor. I’m aware that it's all talk until I actually prove it. Just as what you said about me was and will be all talk but that's OK because soon enough? The entire wrestling world is going to be treated to a clinic, the match that is going to steal the show, that is going to win match of the year maybe and throughout it all Jack? It's not going to be your name announced as the winner, yeah I know, that's not something you're used to but the name being echoed from the lungs of the announcer is going to be the British apprentice, Reagan Cole. And that is the Cole way!

  5. Jack pauses to unzip his white leather jacket, revealing his Intercontinental Championship.

Well I was actually saving part of that for the last bit, but since you wanted to call me out on it I just felt inclined.

I may have had a concussion, but I wouldn't forget the only solitary thing that matters to me. Just like I haven't forgotten about your past here.

You lost, time after time. The only time you held any gold was that Hardcore title look-a-like, the British Championship. Hell, at least you inspired Mike to do the same.

But when the IWT was revived, so were you. You won the Royal Rumble! It was your time to Main Event IWTMania against Aids, Aids versus Reagan. What a wonderous match that would've been! But you got stopped before you ever gotten your shot. Just like the tournament Fargo just kicked you out of. Stopped and robbed of getting that shot at a brand new World Title! One that'll never surpass mine, but that's a minor detail.

But somehow, you made it to my title. You're in, you have a shot! If only I could remember how you got it. Oh yeah! You beat Scotty.... something. McDonalds? Snuffed him out in his first match, to gain a chance to my title.

I really, really don't know what Little Mike was thinking putting a title shot on that match. Of all the matches, it had to be that one. It's almost like Michael is the one with the concussion. Don't get me wrong, like I said I'm not taking you lightly. But even you have to admit that was horrible choice. You just have to!

And I respect that you've chosen to say that you wanted to me at my best, but regardless if I had two broken arms on top of my concussion I'd STILL give it my all! So it really doesn't matter when this match was taking place. All that matters is the outcome. And I've been itching for a fight since I've been released, and you're in the wrong place at the wrong time. Because I'm not out here to win, but to prove a point.

That no matter how many people are gunning for me, once you're in a ring with me it's a whole different ballgame. And the ONLY way the result ends is with you, and everyone else being struck out.

    And that's because

Forté unhooks his Intercontinental Championship and raises it in the air.

My name is Jack Forté and I AM YOUR Intercontinental Champion! And I'm the man to blame for you striking out, again.

Jack lowers his title, places it and his microphone down, and mouthes.

    Blame Me.

  9. Reags just had a little more emotion, and I can feel the struggle to break the glass ceiling and get the title. Voted for him.
