Who Won?

Poll closed Apr 25, 2016.
  1. Schizo

  2. Gato Volar

  3. Jack Forte

  1. The following contest is scheduled for one fall...and it is for the IWT Intercontinental Championship!

(@Shadow) Jack Forté vs. Gato Volar (@TheArabHammer) vs. Schizo (@Jacob Fox)

    The rules are as follows:

-No interuptions, only competitors can post here
-Pictures, videos, livestream etc. are all banned, apart from titantron entrances.
-Promos will last for up to 24 hours after the 1st promo is posted,
and there is a 2 promo limit.
-Voting will then last for 24 hours after the last promo is posted.

Voting for yourself will result in instant disqualification and suspension,
ask as many questions, as you want. idgaf.

Please don't post during the match. If you need to post an OOC post,
it needs to be important and short.

  2. *Schizo cocks his head to the side, running his fingers through the stringy hair falling from the side of his mask*

The time left for you both is slowly ticking away... it's quiet at first but it gets louder... the seconds get louder until they hurt your ears. Muff's time must have been deafening in his ears towards the end.

*Schizo looks up in the air as if he has seen or heard something*

*whispers* Can you hear it? I heard it as it fluttered above my head. I heard the time, I heard the very seconds as they passed by. And do you know why I heard them? Do you know why? I'll tell you. It's because they're precious. They're important. When something is important to you, when something IS DIRE and precious, you notice it more and more easily. And that's whats happening here. The time, the seconds are able to be heard because of how important and precious they are. When the seconds left in one's life are running out, they become longer and they definitely become louder.

What's that? You're wondering how I can hear your time? How I can hear the seconds that you have left? If your time is running out, how can I possibly hear it? The answer is simple and should be obvious. I can't. Although the time you have left is short, it's not the time that I hear passing by. I am hearing my last time and my last seconds. Because like both of you, my time is running out too.

What I will do to both of you... the way I will mangle you will be just as bad on my body as on yours. Never forget what I am willing to do to myself only for it to be done worse to you. If the time I have left on this earth is so precious... so fleetng and So LOUD... then I can just imagine how loud your time must sound in your ears.

It must be booming, it must be deafening.

The agony of the sounds will be exquisite. Savor those sounds.. relish in the agony...hold onto the sounds of those seconds because it's the only thing you have left...and you won't have it for long.

I'm not coming for the belt, I'm coming to take the few seconds you both have left.

  3. I've only had two matches here en the IWT and I'm already getting an opportunity to showcase why I'm la verdad en el mundo de lucha then you'll see tonight. I'm up against two men who are looking to delay fate. Jack Forté and Schizo

*Volar looks confused and then looks towards Schizo*

    *waves hand*

    Over here

*snaps fingers and points at himself*

Hey Loco, right over here...I know those voices in your head are distracting you and all you can think of is probably killing dogs and cats or something but listen up and listen good. You beat someone who couldn't fight his way out of a wet paper bag if his life depended on it and yet you claim to "take our seconds away". I'll give it to you Schizo, that you did. I'll never get those seconds back in my life listening to the rants of someone who should've been aborted long ago.

*Volar reaches in his boot and takes out a wad of cash*

Take this money, go buy some pills and take that same vacation Chyna did. That's the only thing that can help you now.

    *Volar turns to Forté*

Hay una cosa sobre ti Simplemente no puedo entender.

That thing is, what makes you think you can beat me? I've been fighting my way to get to this place all of my life. I've earned everything I got with blood, sweat, and tears.

So many nights have come and gone where I knew I had to shatter someone's dream in order for me to get one step closer to getting what I deserve.

One step closer to etching my name in the history books as a champion in IWT

One step closer to taking the one thing you hold dear in this world....that intercontinental championship

I know people like you. I've fought people like you who will go through hell and high-water to keep your place.

Unfortunately for you I AM THE HELL AND THE HIGH-WATER.

Renunciar siempre es una opción . Pero voy a tomar demasiada alegría en retrasar lo inevitable ... tomar lo que es mío directamente de las manos y llevarlo de vuelta a casa

    Viva Volar

    Viva XIX

  4. *The stage lights start pulsating between purple and white, as the hologram of Prince plays Jack's entrance. Mint green strobe lights emit from all angles of the grand set up IWTMania has to offer. At the 00:21 mark Forté exploads through the entrance way to a thunderous applause. His attire is the same as usual, but with purple embroidered into it. Jack pauses on stage, and uses his free hand to unzip his purple and green leather jacket, unveiling his Intercontinental Heavyweight Championship. The tank top it rests over is white, and reads Time Less. Also stitched in purple in green. Forté resumes his entrance, slapping the fan's hands as he makes his way ring side, but doesn't enter the ring.*

Jack waits for everything to simmer down before beginning.

Soo, I was the only one who planned an entrance? Alright. It isn't awkward, not at all. Schizo, Gato. Hello, hola or whatever. To what do I owe the pleasure this fine, yet tragic evening? I mean, this match wasn't exactly set in stone. For some unknown reason Valor has gotten a shot at my title, a man who has had only two matches before stepping up to me. One of which I was apart of, and because of that he was on the losing end. I just really don't think you should be focused on taking my title from me, amigo. You ought to be more focused on something along the lines of making sure your work visa is in order. You don't want to get deported, do you?

Forté pauses and gets a sort of 'aha!' expression.

That's right! You wouldn't, would you? That's because I found out that you, Gato Valor, a man who oozes Mexican pride. A man who puts down these United States, is the same man who lives in this very country. Are you even a full blooded Hispanic? My bet would be a no, considering how broken your speech is. But it's ok, you may not have to be worried about getting deported, but you do need to be worried about getting the same outcome the last time we meant inside a ring. Let's face it, the only time you had the upper hand on me is when your more successful buddies already put a dent on me physically. But even then it was right after I toppled the IWT Champion in a one on one competition. A match that you were present in. You've seen what I could do first hand, you've even felt it. Yet you come out here with this air of feigned arrogance and think I wouldn't see through it? This isn't my first rodeo, it may be my biggest but I'm dead set on walking out the same way I did when I came in here. Undefeated, with my championship in my hands. Shaking my ass to Prince no less.

Jack begins to walk up the steps, and enters the ring to address Schizo.

You know Schizo, they say never look a crazy guy in the eyes. But when I look at you, even though it's extremely hard to with your mask. But still, when I do look at you I don't see crazy. I see a determined man, ready, willing, and able to risk his own life to get what he really wants. That's why I wanted to add you to this match at the very last minute. It's the same thing I see in myself, and it's what has gotten me this far. But the difference is, I've got nothing to hide. Hence why I don't wear a mask. Everything you see is everything you get, everyone who has stepped into the ring with me has seen right through me. And as big as their names were, they just couldn't see past me. Because it takes a lot more than thinking that you know your opponent. I'm not going to say that I can see through you, but I will say that I can see past you. And well the outcome will be the same.

You want to talk about time, how much seconds both Gato and I have left. I'll tell you this, Gato's time has ended before it ever even began. And my time, well it may have began draining once I won my title. But look at my hourglass Schizo, it's never going to run out. Because I, well I... am simply timeless.

  5. Time limit should be null and void for this tbh, keep going till we get our two in. This is Mania, after all.
    • Agree Agree x 2
  6. *Schizo sits on the stage and cocks his head and laughs*

Gato, Gato... it takes a lot to make me laugh and you did it well. Thank you, and I am laughing with you, not at you. But keep your money. Do I really look like someone who has a shortage of medication?

You say Muff couldn't fight his way out of a wet paper bag. That may be true but you made one fatal error. You underestimated the fight of a paper bag! Some of my toughest opponents have been paper bags. I, in fact, single handedly defeated every single one of the Fandango paper bag puppets in a hour long battle royal. You may think that sort of thing is easy, but when five paper bag puppets gang up on you, it's the very definition of Hell!

I have absolutely no doubt that the paper bags will put up a much tougher fight than you will. But if it will make you feel better... if it will make you feel secure, you can have a paper bag in your corner and I'll tear you both to shreds.

*Schizo's face turns very serious and he begins tapping his fingers on his forehead*

Jack, they say in the land of the blind the one eyed man is king. While some feel that may be an advantage, I simply look at it as the equivalent of being the smartest kid on the short bus. An advantage over the disadvantaged is really no advantage at all. You may have been able to see the things that Gato was unable to see, but that doesn't mean you've seen everything. It's not nearly as clear as you might think it is.

Do I really have something to hide or is that simply what I want you to think? You say I am determined to get what I want, but do you honestly know what that might be? Do I even know what that is?

When I was a child I used to love looking in catalogs at toys and wishing I had the toys. But when I got the toys, they were never as fun as the wishing was. I learned that desire is much more satisfying than having. If I can't reach my goals, I'll drag out my desires for a long, long time. If destroying you is my goal then, I'll make the road towards getting there long and painful.

I'll give you one piece of advice before it all begins. You told me that you can see past me. Some say that only a fool looks at the finger that points to the sky. But if that is the case, it is the fool that is truly wise because the finger has intentions... the sky is just the sky. So look past me, Jack. Look at the sky.

That will be your biggest mistake.

  7. Fuck it, I got my phone. Gonna bang one out
  8. I apologize, Schizo. Somewhere in between all of these metaphors I've been hearing, as well as all of the broken English-- I somehow forgot the man I am. Talking about feigned arrogance, and then talking about how I can see past you. It may sound hypocritical, or at the very least conceded. I'm not the same green rookie that walked into this place. I think it just comes from where I've been looking at things. I mean, the two of you, combined have a total number of matches under your belt that I have had more of in one single month. Gato, standing at a gracious record of 1-1, and Schizo at 1-0. Whereas I've remained undefeated for almost a year, my reign closing in on seven months long, and currently holds the shortest amount of time it has taken to enter the Hall of Fame. But those are nothing more than facts, and looking at the facts may seem like a douchey thing to do. So let's not, let's look at the people themselves.

Gato, a man who thinks he's superior to everyone else because his parents came from a different country, and got rich. Let's ignore the that he's a U.S citizen, and that he was born into the money. Let's also ignore that he hasn't contributed nothing to his family's success. Yet he still believes he's entitled to the Intercontinental Heavyweight Championship. And then there's you, Schizo. A man somewhat shrouded when it comes to his origins, but has had this burning desire to hurt people as long as he can remember. At any and all costs, win, lose, or draw. As long as his opponent is dismantled he's satisfied. A man who hasn't made it clear whether he even wants this title. Whereas I, I have worked for my entire life to get here.

Rewind to when I was young. I've never been one for toys, personally. But I did have one, and that was a replica of Intercontinental Championship. Ever since I was a wee little tyke this has been my dream, to stand on this stage, holding up my title. I grew up intent on all of this, this has what I've desired. From looking up to the likes of Senhor Perfect, to besting him in competition, to joining the class that he's in! I realized that pain was gonna be a huge part of the route I've taken. It was my choice to do this, I knew people were going to want to tear me apart. And that's fine, I knew it wasn't going to be enough to handle the pain, but to also work with it.

I encourage it, it's why I've always picked the biggest dogs in the yard. I've never ever shyed away from a fight. If I didn't I wouldn't have wanted you to be in this match. I could've easily just chose to stick to Gato and go from there. But that's not the guy I am, and I'll never be that guy. Past, present, or future, I'm dead set on showing everyone that I can not only hang with, but surpass anyone who is put in my way. But if I'm going to go down, it's going to be memorable.

However, my own faults will not be my downfall. I've made errors, yeah, but they're not enough to put me away. Especially not today. Everybody's time ends, that's what you said, yeah? Even with one eye I can see the time in your hourglass, as well as Gato's. And time's up. The only person either of you can blame when you both are looking up at the arena lights, not the sky, with your backs on the mat, is myself.

    Blame Me.

Give them a read, and vote. Keep up the activity, you're making this place gold again.
  10. @Jacob Fox - you can't vote even if it isn't for yourself. :dawg:
  11. Don't tell him what to do! <3 u Jacob

Should've waited until tomorrow, see if Arab would show. At least waited until peak traffic, it's all good though.

    Best of luck to everyone.

  12. Well then why'd you tag me for it :p
  13. The match already surpassed the due date. Good match, Volar may have only cut one, but he cut one awesome promo. Hard to choose, re-reading for a 3rd time before I choose.
  14. I guess, sorry. I'lll let it slide this time, but just remember.
  15. It doesn't matter, you can remove it if you want. I just thought that since I was tagged and it said to vote that it meant that participants could vote... trust me, I have no problem having a vote for my opponent removed ;)
  16. I removed it once, but you did it again. lol.
  17. haha I didn't know you removed it.. I thought I was having a browser issue... haha it doesn't matter to me either way.... I wouldnt have voted if I didn't think it was true.

EDIT: Somewhere right now, Ric Flair is sorry to have me as a fan
  18. Really? You were the hardest opponent I've had in a while. Had 0 idea how to go about my second promo, especially so soon. Thought it turned out good, but Arab could've easily closed on us both.

You've got no reason to be hard on yourself. Really like your gimmick.
