John Cena leaving WWE?

  1. "John Cena is taking time off from WWE to film a reality television fitness project with FOX. But, make no mistake about it, this is no passion project.

If Cena’s latest venture becomes a hit, is he doomed to leave WWE and go the way of The Rock?"

Now my thoughts on this is that it is a possibly. He is older so he is naturally going to begin to weigh his options. I think he will begin to take more and more "time off" and eventually become like the Rock where he makes a yearly appearance just to jump ratings but I can't see this happening for at least another 3 years.
  2. No. Cena lives, breaths and bleeds WWE. Even when his ring run is done he'll be involved in some form.

  3. Cena recently released a statement and in it he said he'd 'never leave' WWE. So, no.
  4. Cena will never leave WWE, that's for sure. If he somehow miraculously left WWE, Vinceman would die the next day. lol

  5. Cena is going no where
  6. I wouldn't have it any other way.
  7. Cena won't be leaving for good but you can guarantee this is the beginning of him turning into a part time performer. In a few years he'll only be around for the Wrestlemanias and the Summerslam, mark my words.

  9. More chance of Mick Foley watching raw is bore again:sheamful:
  10. Cena's not going part time yet. Maybe when he's 40. Seems like a lifer to me, but who knows. The product is shit, maybe that's getting to John. The fire could burn out.

  11. I certainly wouldn't want to invest the rest of my life in a company that is producing crap.

  12. Cena is a lifer, unless he has a fallen out with WWE, which is always possible... He'll do movies here and there but he's not going anywhere.
  13. I think you guys are over estimating Cena's loyalty. You really think a man going into his 40s wants to wrestle full time when he could easily ease his way into a part time contract for just as much money? On top of making even more money in hollywood? I guarantee Cena will be part time in 2 years when he hits 40.

  14. I really doubt Cena will leave WWE anytime soon.
  15. Considering how much he's always talked about how much he lives and breathes WWE, it's not hard to believe. People can always have a change of heart, but I don't ever see him ditching the 'E completely.
  16. Honestly this is a time we NEED Cena, like it or not, he might be shoved to poster boy every year but with the skit he's done recently as the old guard that defended the US title successfully but put over talent is really boosting his credientials, WWE still needs him
