Latest Terminator 5 rumours suggest The Rock may be sent back to the 1940s to kill Arnie!

  1. Rumours from an unlikely source, according to WWE Examiner, the reason Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson is missing from the line-up Wrestlemania 30 (because we were all clearly wondering), it’s because the Doom and Scorpion King star has signed up to co-star in Terminator 5 with franchise oak Arnold Schwarzenegger.
The site reports that Johnson will play the film’s “most sinister machine” while Arnie may be playing an all-new human character, saying, “According to the scenario outlined, T5 may be a prequel set in the days of Sarah Connor’s parents, marking the first time terminators have been sent back in time to kill a character that existed before both John and Sarah Connor.
“Incredibly, Schwarzenegger may not play the role of a machine in the next film, but a potentially heroic human figure in or close to the Connor family. One theory is that Schwarzenegger’s remarkable ability to protect the Connor family in the 1940s or 1950s with antiquated weaponry by today’s standards ultimately inspired the machines to develop a terminator in his likeness that was eventually sent to 1984 when Sarah Connor was first targeted for termination.”
“These rumors however contradict Schwarzenegger's recent comments where he announced he would return as a Terminator in the next film.” this came from the http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Terminator_(franchise)
Now for people that don't know I AM A HUGE FAN OF TERMINATAR MOVIES! But common that don't need The Rock in this film that got Arnold Schwarzenegger! Arnold Schwarzenegger is the Terminatar without Arnold Schwarzenegger there is no Terminatar. Rock is not need in this film. And why are that back tracking!? Why not continue were that left off from the 4 one? That should show how Kyle Reese go back in time since that would it was leading to at the end of the 4 one. Arnold as a human? he is the Terminatar. though he has said that he is still going to be a Terminatar so maybe there still change that will do a continue of were that left off from 4. What do you all thing!?

  2. If Arnie's in it I'll watch it. I'm a huge Arnold fanboy, so it doesn't matter to me what the story is as long as he has some one liners.

  3. Sounds terrible, let this shit die. It's like Rambo or Rocky know when to kill it even though the first were dope.

  4. All about that paper. Rock's name + Terminator franchise = stack it up

  5. Yep, Rocky draws better than Da Vinci and even Arnold has some major buzz when reprising a role (remember the hype for him redoing Conan or some shiz?). I understand why they're doing it but personally I say just let this bitch cry and the shit die.

  6. terrible? ALL THE TERMINTOR MOIVE WERE EPIC! and I wanted to see what lead to end the robat and what lead to kyle and the robat going back in time!

  7. 1&2 I agree the rest? Debatable at best

  8. though 2 was the best. 3 was epic and 4 was not as bad as people said it was. I thing 4 when with what the story was. I just wish it had taken place in 2009 rather then 2019.

  9. I also vote for just letting certain franchises die. The Rock vs Schwarzenegger does sound awesome though, and having Schwarzenegger play a human against a Terminator is an interesting twist. Having him part of the Connor family would be retarded, of course, since surely Sarah Connor would have seen pictures of him. I really hope there's a good excuse for why the Connor family would be in danger in the 40's and 50's too, because as I recall, John Connor simply grew up to be the general or whoever who lead the charge against the robots/cyborgs in the future but clearly he didn't have it passed down from his parents because his mother was just living a normal boring life in the first film.

  10. The fuck? The movies should have died by 3 probably. I loved the first 3.

  11. Thought this was a joke.

    Fail after 2.

  12. Meh didn't really care for the movies after the second one. This idea seems dull and boring. I really have nothing else to say, it almost sounds like a joke.
Although since we're on the discussion of Terminator....
    Show Spoiler
    Terminator+Guns N' Roses= :mog: :yay:

  13. This isnt the reason Rock would miss Mania. Rock was injured at Mania and said multiple times it may have been his last match. I highly doubt he would miss the 3oth anniversary of Wrestlemania for terminator and if he did go to do this he would get days off to build up hype I would assume. Plus I really really wouldnt trust an unlikely source.

  14. 2 was the best no question about that. but 3 was fuckin great. and 4 was not as bad as people thing it was, just b/c Arnold Schwarzenegger was not in 4 does not mean it was bad which is what i alway heard from people. 4 was about John C. and i though that did a good job answer some unanswer question that 1-3 movie never told us. So like I said before all of 4 of the movie were EPIC!

  15. I disagree Gohan its a cash cow for Hollywood guaranteed to make money so they will keep making it. Hollywood is unable to take huge risks with films atm due to poor DVD sales largely due to streaming sites also 3D doesnt help as sales ate dropping off there as well. So they have to play safe to guarantee money. Here is a list of big films this year note the amount of sequels and superhero film.

anchorman 2, catching fire, die hard 5, elysium, evil dead, fast and furious 6, gangster squad, iron man 3, kick ass 2, monsters university, oblivion, oldboy, pacific rim, pain & gain, red 2, riddick, sin city 2, star trek into darkness, superman man of steel, the hobbit, the seventh son, the wolverine, the worlds end, thor 2, zero dark thirty

  16. dude the film have been wether u like it or not that already paid to have be made that also 6 one as well! And it not coming into 2015. there not film it until 2014! And I think all 4 film were great!

  17. If I was Rock and shooting Terminator 5 conflicted with Wrestlemania XXX, I'd miss Mania. The Rock can always come back at a future Mania for his retirement match, or for just a sporadic appearance or two (similar to his role at Wrestlemania 27, maybe as a special referee or something.) It's not like he's interrupting an already built-in story line by not doing a match against Brock Lesnar. He can still help WWE in the future and make a fuckload of money in the process. Whereas if he misses the chance to film Terminator 5 now, he misses the chance of almost certainly making more money than he would wrestling, not to mention missing the opportunity of working with Schwarzenegger and being apart of the iconic Terminator franchise. And if doing both meant he had to miss several Raws, I'd rather he didn't bother anyway (although that sounds exactly what the Rock/Brock build would be - just hype from the commentators week after week about the Hollywood action star versus the beast from the UFC, with the two of them rarely appearing on the show with each other.)

I personally think Wrestlemania next year would be better without The Rock because it's more interesting to think what they'll have to do when their biggest name on the card can't make it and they had to supply Lesnar with another opponent and rely on others to do the drawing as far as star power, hype and matches go.

  18. Yes Taker vs. Brock, Though Rock could still have a good match with someone at WM30 if MR.WrestleMania came out of retirement for 1 MORE MATCH!

  19. Undertaker/Cena, as Undertaker's retirement, is what I'm hoping for. Promote it as "Win, Lose Or Draw - The Streak Ends Here!" or something. There's no better way to end the Wrestlemania streak than the 30th anniversary of the event.

That's another reason I wouldn't mind (and would actually want) The Rock not being there to wrestle one last time because I don't see them promoting the retirement of TWO huge names, and I'll take Undertaker over Rock for next year. I wouldn't mind Taker/Lesnar, but I wanted to see that match this year but since it was of utmost importance that HHH get a victory over Brock Lesnar at least once in his career (on the grand stage of WM, of course), we didn't get it.

If Shawn Michaels comes out of retirement for any match, you can bet it'll be against Triple H. HHH said before that when the day comes to hang 'em up, he wants it to be against HBK.
