[IMG]According to the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, TNA is looking to make the January 7th edition of Impact Wrestling on Destination America a “reboot” for the series, as it heads into its 11th year on air. They are apparently working on new graphics and a visual change to the way the show is presented.

Perhaps the biggest change is that former WWE announcer Josh Matthews will be replacing Mike Tenay, alongside Taz, as the new two-man commentary team for Impact every Wednesday. Matthews was let go by WWE earlier this year, and immediately signed with TNA as soon as his non-compete contact was up. They originally brought him in to be an announcer, and even relocated him to Nashville – where TNA headquarters is located – where he’s been working on various projects for the past few months, including a relaunch of the official company website.

  2. Not a fan of Tenay or Taz personally, would've liked to seen them both replaced but whatever Josh Matthews should be alright hopefully.

  5. I kinda prefer Tenay over Taz right now, but putting Josh Matthews in the announce team is a great move.

Next up, announce a new signing or two so we can get hype, 2015 PPV dates and LIVE shows!
  6. Bring back Don West. Give him million $ per year.
  7. "It's expected that Tenay will keep an on-air role."

  8. I'm fine with this (Josh replacing him). Tenay staying around as an interviewer or something can't be too bad.
  9. I'm fine with Tenay sticking around and Josh joining him on commentary.

I'd also be fine if Josh/Taz was a new commentating team.
The reason I've been fine with Tenay and Taz all this time is because I haven't grown sick of them yet, mainly because I've been watching TNA for almost 2 years now and in my opinion, unlike Cole and Lawler, Tenay and Taz haven't been shoved down our throats for so many years.

We'll see how things go for TNA in 2K15, hopefully for the better!
