  1. World Tag League Update
New Japan Pro Wrestling’s annual World Tag League Tournament has just completed. The annual tournament featured 14 of the best heavyweight tag teams in the world. The tournament was won by the unlikely pairing of Togi Makabe and eternal underdog Tomoaki Honma, but the effect of Ring of Honor’s tag team division cannot be denied.

Ring of Honor’s World Tag Team Champions The Kingdom, Matt Taven, Michael Bennett and Maria Kanellis and former ROH World Tag Team Champions The Addiction, Christopher Daniels & Frankie Kazarian shined in numerous high profile match ups. Former ROH World Champion “Unbreakable” Michael Elgin teamed with Hiroshi Tanahashi and nearly made it to the Finals. The Bullet Club was well represented with IWGP Heavyweight Tag Team Champions Doc Gallows & Karl “Machine Gun” Anderson and the pairing of Current #1 contender to the Ring of Honor World Championship “The Phenomenal” AJ Styles & Yujiro Takahashi.

The Kingdom return from a grueling 21 day tour of Japan to face their biggest challenge to date at Final Battle. They will defend their championships against the monstrous War Machine. Raymond Rowe & Hanson have remained sharp and focused and will be ready to prove their time is now!

The Addiction return to the shocking news that Alex Shelley has revealed himself as the masked Knights of The Rising Dawn member who played a role in costing them the ROH World Tag Team Championship. Daniels & Kazarian will team with Chris Sabin to take on #reborn Matt Sydal, ACH & Alex Shelley in a six man tag match up.

#BigMike will see action at Final Battle against Moose with Stokely Hathaway! The two have seen a friendly rivalry take an aggressive turn. Can Elgin defeat Moose en route to challenging the ROH World Champion or can Moose break the “Unbreakable”?

“The Phenomenal” AJ Styles looks to accomplish what he set out to do upon his return to Ring of Honor in January of 2014, capture the Ring of Honor World Championship. He is set to face ROH World Champion Jay Lethal in the most anticipated match of 2015. Will Styles make history or will Lethal crush his dream?

The current IWGP Heavyweight Tag Team Champions The Bullet Club, Doc Gallows & Karl “Machine Gun” Anderson, are returning to Ring of Honor in January. The controversial duo will look to bring some of that Bullet Club chaos to Asheville, NC on January 22 and Duluth, GA on January 23. You will not want to miss this spectacular duo.

***Next week we will also begin announcing the stars of New Japan Pro Wrestling that will appear at Ring of Honor’s 14th Anniversary weekend! The annual spectacular will without a doubt get the world talking. Be sure to check back to www.rohwrestling.com to find out which amazing athletes will be taking part***
