Independent wrestling's stigma of there being no emotion or story doesn't come from the promos as seen here, it comes from those spot fests where there is a billion chazillion flips and liitle to no selling or pshchology.
This promo was breathtaking IMO, The energy, the passion, the sheer emotion was visible in his face.
That is pro wrestling at its finest, Bravo Eddie Kingston.
Tim Donst has even better promos than him, IMO.
You have to look at a Briscoe promo, and then have the nerve to say....
"no emotion or story in independent wrestling"
SHUT UP FOOL!
Donst is hit and miss for me. Some are good but some are pretty bad. The scrapbook one for example. A nice concept but I felt like his delivery ruined it.
Kevin Steen vs. El Generico feud, period.
