Progress Progress Discussion Thread

Discussion in 'International Wrestling' started by Majour, Oct 16, 2015.

  1. I know there are at least a couple of folks who watch Progress, so figured why not start up a thread for it.

    So go ahead, discuss....
  2. I've seen very little of PROGRESS (Devitt/Sabre, some stuff featuring Havoc, Ospreay and Scurll), but I should watch it regularly.
  3. It's the reason Jimmy Havoc and Will Ospreay are were they are.

I've only got through the first 3 shows due to life but I am up to date on the results and the lore. Progress also gets a bonus point for not using American talent or Japanese imports to draw crowds, unlike basically any other big UK fed not named ICW.
  4. Chapter 22 is this Sunday, so the full match card is below (in spoilers as the images are huge)

    Show Spoiler

  5. I've watched a couple of the latest chapters and honestly, Progress is one of the best atm.

Havoc/Osprey's stuff was pretty great and that Deathmatch vs Robinson at 21 was fucking insane.

Love some of the Projo Talents but most of all, I love Pastor Will Eaver, the crowd are behind him and he's actually decent at the moment in the ring.

    GZRS are brilliant, end of.

Anyway, Nice to see guys like Tyler Bate and Jack Gallagher get appearances in Progress, especially Jack since SSS16. My Boy, The Modfather, Morgan Webster should do well against Marty, correct me if I'm wrong, Majour, but he still has that Natural Progression title shot, correct?
  6. I believe so, but don't quote me on that.

I'm really looking to forward to the Flash Morgan match (well, all of them actually) , I think he's only wrestled at two of the chapters that I've been to.
  7. I usually see him at the ATTACK shows, One of my Favourite guys there, his MOD type of gimmick is great and well, Him dressed as Spyro kind of made me like him more.

Oh, and he's also good in the ring, imo.
  8. Progress Sunday time.

  9. Will Ospreay is awesome.
    • Agree Agree x 1
  10. So is Marty Scurll.
  11. So is Mark Andrews.
  12. And Jimmy Havoc
  13. Hoping that the opening package will be included on the on demand version. Hilarious 'The office' skit.
  14. @Forrest OAKADA

    Chapter 22 Results (open)

Dave Mastiff def. Jack Gallagher thanks to a distraction from Zack Gibson, and Mastiff joined the Origin as a result.
Pastor William Eaver def. Tyler Bate to advance to the 2015 NPS semi finals
The GZRS def. Rampage Brown and Lord Jonathan Windsor
    Mark Haskins def. Tommaso Ciampa
Marty Scurll def. Flash Morgan Webster and was subsequently challenged by Ciampa for a match at Chapter 23 in November.
The Origin (Gibson, Mastiff, Cruz and Ligero) def. The SDS and The Riots
Will Ospreay def. Paul Robinson to retain the PROGRESS title, and was challenged by the returning Mark Andrews (not fucking Mandrews) to a title match at Chapter 23 in November.
  15. Heard Ciampa made a certain announcement as well. Happy for him
  16. He's back next month to face Marty Scurll, but he said he wasn't sure if he'd be back after that.
  17. Reports I've read said he basically said he's going to the WWE
  18. He didn't come right out and say it, but it was pretty obvious it was what he meant.
  19. Mark Andrews is back...Fuck yes.

Now, I can't wait to see him back in ATTACK but can't wait to see this show on Demand.

  20. I've watched only single matches. But I'm seeing more and more chapters popping up on the web. Gonna start watching when the newest one shows up, and follow it from there.
