  2. The results were pretty predictable, but it was all pretty good for the most part. 8/10.

  3. 9/10.

The takeover series has, dare I say it, better wrestling matches than most main roster ppv's.

  4. 8/10 it was good. Might watch Nakamura vs Joe again and that's about it

  5. I'm giving a 9/10 just for Revival Vs Gargano/Ciampa the rest of the show was great with Bobby Roode's entrance being utterly GLORIOUS. But that match stole the show imo.

  6. NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn II was a very good show. 8/10

    - Austin Aries vs No Way Jose was a good show opener. ***¼
This was surprisingly good. Aries is a carryjob machine. And just like Brooklyn, I went apeshit for Itami coming out post-match and hitting the GTS on Aries.

    - Ember Moon vs Billie Kay was decent for what it was. **
This was a fine showcase for the debuting Ember Moon. She's got a good theme and her finisher (O-Face) is dope.

    - Bobby Roode vs Andrade "Cien" Almas was good. ***
Bobby Roode's entrance was GLORIOUS! However, his finisher, Glorious Bomb is... Not glorious. Anyways, Roode looked pretty good here and he's already over as hell. Andrade looked good, too. Probably the best he's looked since debuting.

    - The Revival vs Johnny Gargano & Tommaso Ciampa was fantastic and MOTN. ****½
    I. LOVED. THIS. SO. MUCH.

    - Asuka vs Bayley was very good. ***¾

    - Shinsuke Nakamura vs Samoa Joe was a good, but not great ME. ***½
I was so hyped for this match and in the end, I was disappointed. They could've done so much more to make this a great match. The parts where they were hitting and kicking the piss out of each other were cool, but this felt really by the numbers. Nakamura was phoning it in. And they didn't really do anything new and surprising outside of that German Suplex near the end of the match. Happy for Nakamura being the champ, though. Sucks for Joe having his jaw broken. Get well soon, man!

  7. A great show all around. I gave it an 8. I liked all the matches and the tag match WAS great, but the match of the night for me was Asuke vs Bayley. That was just a really fun match and I was into it from the start.

  8. Haven't seen it all yet, but seems to be good all round. Nakamura/Joe was great, and Nakamura's entrance was so cool.

  9. Yeah that had to be one of the great all time entrances.

  10. Hideo's pop for hitting the GTS on Aries was great. I really enjoyed the show, The Revival killed it.

  11. seabs is back!:woohoo:

  12. 7/10 from me. Gargano/Ciampa vs The Revival was the highlight of the night for me. Enjoyed that a lot. Asuka vs Bayley was incredible stuff, my second favorite match. Overall enjoyable show.

  13. Thought it was a fairly unpredictable show actually. 8/10 from me, an almost 9/10 taken down due to seeing Stephanie talk about the Divas' Revolution 24 special before Bayley's farewell match. :kratos:

Random thought: La Sombra should go under the Sin Cara mask as Hunico pals around with the Shining Stars.
Less random thought: My vote for Wrestler of the Year right now is a tie between Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder.

  14. 6/10, pretty good show, but i've seen better Takeover's.

  15. Dawson, definitely. The dude's incredible!

  16. Totally! But you can't have one without the other...

I've ranted to you enough about WWE tag matches, and these Takeover ones ever since the Revival took over have been absolute perfection. Dude that fake hot tag was BEAUTIFUL.
SO MUCH ACTION. SO MUCH EXCITEMENT. AHHHHHHHHHH. All three are probably Top 5 MOTYC for mwahhh.
Obviously they have more creative freedom on NXT but it seems so apparent these guys have a big hand in getting these INCREDIBLE Takeover matches over.
Having balls-awesome dance partners help but this is the 3rd Takeover in a row that the Revival's tag match has been a thing of awesomeness.

One other thing from this show is just how few "moves" guys NXT has now - and how little they matter. I don't know about you, but I didn't think Almas and his double-springboard dropkicks and flying corkscrew planchas came across as any better of a worker than the GLORIOUS one and his clotheslines and side slams. Could use a new finisher, but... I can't even remember what his finish was in TNA :haha: Seem to remember during his incredible 2012 run much of his finishers were "Getting hit by the opponent's finisher in a beneficial way" and I'll still buy that :)

Nice to see Itami having something else going besides "the third best Japanese kicky dude in NXT"

    NXT Takeover 9/10
If Tye Dillinger was on the card...
    Would've given it a 10...
But yeah in all seriousness Tye Dillinger should either be called up or be given a NXT Title shot, he is so over, it's crazy.
And The Revival & Tommaso Ciampa & Johnny Gargano Part 2 for next Takeover done maaan!
Bobby Roode is Glorious! His finisher is not. Pump Handle Slam! Cmoon maaan! Can't really blame him though, their are so many superstars that have the same or similar finishers, it's good to see some originality.

  18. Agreed. Would prefer the "Pay Off" fisherman suplex and his usual Crossface.
