  2. He's right about Cena. The Cena that exists today would have been a joke in the AE but the Thuganomics Cena, or just regular Cena who wasn't made to ponder to the kids and cut the same old boring promos (always smirking and shrugging everything off) would have fit in well with the AE. At his best, Cena is pretty much the closest thing we have to an Attitude Era-like character, whether you like Cena or not.

Austin-Cena would have been great, and we could still get it, but it seems they're going with Austin/Punk. Guess they don't want to have Austin and Rock's big return matches be both against Cena.
  3. Indeed. Thuganomics Cena would be something else in the AE.

Match would indeed be great, but I don't think it'll happen.
  4. Re: RE: Steve Austin Talks About Working With Bret Hart,

Just me who could cheesy Cena as a top AE heel? The ultimate corporate puppet would have got immense heat.
  5. Wigger Cena would have been pretty hilarious in the AE. He'd fit right in with Too Cool.
  6. RE: Steve Austin Talks About Working With Bret Hart,

True, he would've been a top AE heel with this gimmick. Since the current Cena haters would be the target audience, it'd work perfectly.
