I don't know if this is even thread worthy or not, but did anyone catch the podcast with Paul Heyman? If so, what were your thoughts on it? How likely do you think Brock Lesnar Vs. Stone Cold is for WM32.

Austin possibly just built himself up in the last 5 minutes of the podcast just in case.
  2. I heard it was pretty iffy, at times great, at times just weird.

Like they spent a bit of times talking about "the jews" and cocain.
  3. I think Austin/Lesnar at WM32 is highly unlikely but would be cool if it happened.

The podcast overall was very enjoyable, yeah there were the few strange moments.. Heyman's summary of the history of the Jews for one, but Steve's gratefulness of Paul's influence on his career was evident. The Heyman road trip stories were very funny.. His discussion of Vince Sr was interesting, and the early years of WCW and ECW.. The 2006 plane ride with Vinny Mac was discussed and why he hated what Vince did with the resurrection of ECW. The talk of Lesnar's history and his relationship with him, also his relationship with CM Punk. The whole thing was intriguing to me.

Oh, and you have to watch it just to hear Heyman's perfect impersonations of Dusty Rhodes, Vince, and Stone Cold himself.. Really good stuff.
  4. I think I have a thread for this called "Austin vs. Brock" that was made yesterday. otherwise, the podcast was pretty stale I thought.
  5. I mainly skipped to the end just to see Austin's "promo" pertaining to a possible match with Brock Lesnar. I'm not really in the mood nor do I have the time and patience at the moment to watch an entire one or two-hour long podcast.

Anyway, I doubt Austin is coming out of retirement but it's pretty clear that a program with Brock Lesnar is the #1 marquee match for Austin to be apart of if he did (his neck issues notwithstanding, of course.) You can even go all the way back to the promotion of the WWE '12 video game a few years ago shortly after Brock returned and you'll see they were planting the seeds for a possible match between them even then. Watch 0:36-1:54 here:

Besides, who else would Austin face? John Cena? Randy Orton? Triple H? Kevin Owens? A heel Roman Reigns? The first three matches aren't desirable in the least, and the latter two wouldn't be big enough for a Wrestlemania the magnitude of what they want next year's event to be. (A match with CM Punk was also teased back during the promotion of WWE '12, but that never happened and now Punk isn't even with the company, so that option is out as well.)
  6. Paul Heyman has a horsethief face and a used-car-salesman attitude and voice, yet he's universally loved.
  7. In the world of pro wrestling, however, his character you just mentioned is perfect for the sport.
  8. Good podcast, I enjoyed it.
  9. Listened to this the other night. Really good, just like the last time.
