The renaissance of "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles continues. On February 11, 2015 Styles defeated Hiroshi Tanahashi in Osaka, Japan to become a two-time IWGP Heavyweight Champion. Tanahashi put forth a valiant effort with Styles having to use his signature moves, including "Hollow Point", "Sunday Bloody Sunday" and finally, the "Styles Clash" to walk away with the title.

Styles has been on a mission to regain the prestigious championship since losing the title to Tanahashi last October. Styles did not lose focus and stayed in contention by defeating Tatsuya Naito in a high profile match up at Wrestle Kingdom 9 in the Tokyo Dome on January 4, 2015. He pinned then-champion Hiroshi Tanahashi in an 8-man tag team match the following night. Styles has gained the reputation of being the best individual competitor in the world right now and this championship victory only adds further to that claim.

AJ Styles will face ROH World Tag Team Champion Bobby Fish on Saturday night February 21, 2015 in Atlanta. The pompous Fish will no doubt be looking to add a win over Styles to his resume, while Styles will be looking to hit the ground running in his second reign!

The new IWGP Heavyweight Champion will also be in action Sunday March 1, 2015 at our 13th Anniversary spectacular, live on Pay Per View. He is facing off with the gravity-defying ACH! This is a one-on-one dream match for which Ring of Honor fans have been clamoring.

With the eyes of the world watching, AJ Styles will now face pressure that most mortals would never understand. His plate is already full with potential contenders looking to knock him off. With the IWGP Heavyweight Title firmly in his grasp, what does this mean for Styles' pursuit of the ROH World Championship? You will not want to miss the opportunity to see the new IWGP Heavyweight Champion AJ Styles in Ring of Honor!

Congratulations also goes out to The Young Bucks as they regained the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team titles, winning a three-way match with now former champs, reDRagon and the Time Splitters, pinning Kushida to walk out with the gold.

Understandably, reDRagon was upset by the outcome, as they lost the titles without being beaten. How will this effect their upcoming ROH World Tag Team Championship match against the Young Bucks at ROH’s 13th Anniversary in Las Vegas on Sunday March 1st?

It was a huge night for "BULLET CLUB" in Osaka as Doc Gallows and "Machine Gun" Karl Anderson regained the IWGP Heavyweight Tag Team titles as well. Now with control of the top titles in New Japan Pro Wrestling, it seems as if no one can touch this powerhouse faction.

Ring of Honor's 13th ANNIVERSARY is without a doubt a must-see event! If you can't be there live, you can watch on Pay-per-View. For a list of providers, click HERE.
