  10. Spuds have an absolute star with Siggurdson.

  11. Good buy for spurs, but that just makes it certain Modric is going. PLEASE go to United you Croatian stud.

  12. I guess he'd replace Scholes? I can't see Levy selling to anyone in the PL tbh, unless you pay big big big money.

  13. I doubt he'll care at all as he'll be getting a ton of money. And no he's not a scholes player, Modric is a Lampard type player. Box to box. Iniesta, Xavi, Silva, all of those box to box and concentrate on creating chances, keeping the ball and perhaps goal threats. Scholes now (maybe former Scholes you're right) is the Xabi Alonso, Pirlo type player.

I'd give you an example of who he'd replace at United but we don't have one single Modric type player apart from Anderson lmao. Our midfield fuckyducks. Kagawa + Modric + Scholes/Carrick is fapworthy.

  14. I honestly thought he played a lot deeper role for Spurs, his stats are terrible for that role then. He should be assisting more if he's playing box to box, I thought he was a sitting back midfielder. The pass before the assist if you will.

  15. Nah they had Sandro for that role. You probably thought that because of how willing Modric is. He is literally box to box which takes incredible stamina. He doesn't go into the attacking box AS much as Van Der Vart for example does for Spurs. Modric still did the stuff Scholes sort of does, go and fetch the ball and start play. But he'll continue it and keep getting the ball wherever he is.

He does need more goals but his passes make up for that, breathtaking player.

  17. Bridge to Brighton is a bizarre one IMO, I would have expected a low Prem team to pick him up.

  18. Adam Clayton [Leeds - Huddersfield] Undisclosed -- Very good signing for us that, hopefully he'll be able to get a few more goals than he did for Leeds last season. I've also heard we got him for a figure of around 400/500K.

  19. Not at his wages!!!

Brighton probably aren't paying anything and City just want him out.

  20. If they wanted him gone, why not buy his contract out? I'm assuming Brighton are picking up 10 - 20 % of his wages. Why not loan him out to a lower prem team with a clause so he can't play against City? You never know he may help knock a few points off your rivals. Seems bizarre to me still, unless there was no interest which would surprise me.
