Ring of Honor Television is here to warm up your television set with another hour of the Best Wrestling on Television. We come to you this week from the Cabarrus Events Center in Concord, North Carolina.

You will see the first match in the annual Ring of Honor Top Prospect Tournament (TPT). The Top Prospect Tournament has launched numerous careers in Ring of Honor. Stars such as Adam Cole, Kyle O’Reilly, Matt Taven, “Unbreakable” Michael Elgin, Hanson and Raymond Rowe have competed in the TPT and gone on to win Championship Gold in ROH.

The winner of the Top Prospect Tournament not only gets the recognition, they also receive a guaranteed shot at the ROH World Television Championship.

The first match of the 2016 TPT will feature Brian Fury taking on Shaheem Ali. Fury is a 17 year veteran of professional wrestling wars. He is not just a supremely talented in ring performer, but also a well-respected trainer. He has helped train many individuals, including the 2015 Top Prospect Tournament winner Donovan Dijak. He has been seen in Ring of Honor before, previously coming up short in a chance at the ROH Television Championship in 2014. His opponent is the impressive Shaheem Ali. Ali been turning heads across the country in preliminary matches against some of Ring of Honor’s rising stars. Standing 6’2”, 230 lbs, Ali’s combination of fluidity, light feet, and power make him a dangerous threat! Both men have impressed ROH Officials at numerous Ring of Honor Training Camp/Seminars. Now they receive the opportunity to show how bad they truly want it. Will it be Fury’s experience that makes the difference or will Ali’s speed and quickness be enough?

The controversial combination of Cedric Alexander and Veda Scott return this week. Alexander is said to be reeling from his recent loss on ROH TV to Jonathan Gresham. This week’s opponent? The charismatic underdog Cheeseburger! Burger is someone who most doubt on first impression as he doesn’t fit the mold of what one might believe a pro wrestler to be. You may think he is too small or he isn’t strong enough. But the little stick of dynamite has something you can’t measure and that is heart! Can Cedric keep his mind in the game or will he meet Cheeseburger's Shotei palm thrust en route to another loss?

We will have a special announcement from Ring of Honor matchmaker Nigel McGuinness. Rumors are rampant that Nigel will announce the new #1 contender to Jay Lethal’s ROH World Championship. With the 14th Anniversary Pay Per View coming up, the speculation is rampant as to who the top contender is. Could it Be Kyle O’Reilly? Is it ROH World Television Champion Roderick Strong? Is it Adam Cole? Michael Elgin? Jay Briscoe?

A battle of two former ROH World Heavyweight Champions headlines this episode of Ring of Honor Television as Jay Briscoe takes on “Unbreakable” Michael Elgin. These two have a history, it was Briscoe that ended Elgin’s reign as ROH World Champion in September of 2014. Elgin has never gotten over that loss. It haunts him as he chases the chance to become a 2x champion. Jay Briscoe is a legend in Ring of Honor. He is a 2x former World Champion, 8x Tag Team Champion and he isn’t done yet. He just won the IWGP Never open weight 6-Man Tag Team Championship and is primed for this match up. Can Elgin regain his steam en route to an ROH World Championship match? Or will Jay Briscoe prove once why he is one of the most decorated men in ROH history?
