With these Olympics behind us, it makes me wonder and post a few questions..... First off, why does Phelps get crowned the greatest Olympian ever? Sure, he is the most dominant swimmer and all, but he also gets to compete for what 8 or so medals in one Olympics? How fair is that? Shouldn't "swimming" be classified as a team sport? Have all these several events and the best TEAM time win? Then all the USA swimmers can get a medal.... ONE medal... you know.. like the OTHER TEAM SPORTS!!!! I'm feeling that you shouldn't have it one way for one sport and a different way for other sports. With swimming's logic, the USA women s soccer team should have gotten credit for a gold medal for EACH player on the team. Am I alone in thinking this way?
