Three and a half years. It has been three and a half years since the All Night Express were stripped of the ROH World Tag Team Championship, titles for which they were never defeated. Rhett Titus and Kenny King initially found success under the tutelage of the "Greatest Man Who Ever Lived," 2 time ROH World Champion Austin Aries. While this alliance benefited the team tremendously, it was once the team embarked on a serious pursuit of gold that ROH fans truly embraced ANX.

They found themselves entangled in bloody battles with The Briscoes, including one of the most brutal Ladder Wars in Ring of Honor history! Finally, Titus and King won the ROH World Tag Team Championship on June 24, 2012 at BEST IN THE WORLD. At the top of the mountain, ANX set the standard for tag team wrestling in ROH. But just as the All Night Express achieved their goal, they were stripped of the titles and Rhett Titus found himself fighting against the Ring of Honor he was once proud to represent as a champion.

At ALL STAR EXTRAVAGANZA '15, The Briscoes had issued an open challenge to absolutely any tag team in professional wrestling. Speculation was buzzing with virtually every active combo in wrestling...but NO ONE expected to hear the familiar beat of ANX's theme music! With San Antonio pounding the guardrails, Rhett Titus and Kenny King returned to ROH, defeating old foes Jay and Mark Briscoe live on pay-per-view. That night, they told the entire world that ANX is back and they are coming for the championship they never truly lost.

But the climb back to title contention is not without challengers. Right now, the ROH tag team scene is hotter than it's ever been! At FINAL BATTLE 2015, The Kingdom will defend against War Machine. But regardless of the outcome of that match, FINAL BATTLE will also witness the crowning of NEW number one contenders when ANX battles The Briscoes and The Young Bucks in Triple Threat action!

Obviously, the history between ANX and The Briscoes is well documented. They have spilled blood against each other and gone to all-out war fighting to determine the better team. But ANX also know they can beat Dem Boys, something they proved at ALL STAR EXTRAVAGANZA! At SURVIVAL OF THE FITTEST, Titus and King battled The Young Bucks, the other team entered in this Friday's Triple Threat match. As anyone who witnessed ANX vs. The Bucks in Hopkins, MN can attest, ANX had their opponents beaten. For fourteen long seconds, ANX scored a visual pin...but the referee was not there to make the count! In the end, the Bucks would walk away with a victory on the record. But the Titus and King KNOW they had The Young Bucks beaten in Hopkins!

What is the mindset of the All Night Express just days away from FINAL BATTLE? They need a victory this Triple Threat contest to earn a shot at the titles they maintain they never lost. Do they have a psychological advantage after virtually beating The Young Bucks in Hopkins? Or is it simply too early in this ANX "reunion tour" to find themselves back on top? Anyone watching ANX recently would no doubt take issue with that last question, as it seems King and Titus are more cohesive than ever before!

FINAL BATTLE 2015 is just days away. Rhett Titus and Kenny King can start 2016 off with a future tag team championship opportunity! But they'll have to get through two of the absolute best teams in all of professional wrestling first. Who will leave FINAL BATTLE as the number one contenders? You can watch LIVE on pay-per-view to find out...or be there yourself in Philadelphia!
