When I pulled up to the Orleans Hotel and Casino and saw Ring of Honor on the marquee, I knew it was going to be a great weekend. Seeing how the company has progressed in the four-plus years I have been there makes me feel good for everyone who predates me with ROH and the 13th Anniversary event makes me feel good about this company’s future.

Not wanting to ruin the event for anyone who has yet to see it, I will avoid spoilers for my thoughts below from the show.

Maria Kanellis is beautiful, brilliant and tough but what’s next for her and The Kingdom?

Toughest man in Las Vegas may have been “Machine Gun” Karl Anderson. I’ve always been a fan of his but Sunday’s effort puts it over the top. Bennett and Taven may have a different opinion.

Who is the Number One Contender for the World Championship? Who will be the first challenger for the World Champion, post-13th Anniversary?

As we flew home Sunday night, Mark Briscoe had great compliments for Moose. He also told me that he was disappointed Moose didn’t shake his hand but Mark didn’t hold Moose responsible.

BJ Whitmer had a smile on his face as he left the ring following his match with Roderick Strong. Why?

Our Spanish Announce Team of Alex Iz and Carlos Ochoa had a bi-lingual note on an iPad to not destroy their table. Other Spanish Announce teams should take notice!

You didn’t get to see Reno Scum on the Pay-per-view but I have a feeling you might in the future.

Who is “Gordon Pumpernickel”? Or what is “Gordon Pumpernickel"?

I wonder if Jay Briscoe regrets his decision to go “All In”…

Matt Sydal and Cedric Alexander set the tone for a special night. Cedric left money on the table Sunday and he knows it.

Speaking of money, King Corino had a hot hand at the craps table with Cary Silkin directing my broadcast partner. Not every member of the ROH Staff cleaned up but everyone had a great time.

There is more depth in Ring of Honor than ever before and the Free Agent market in Pro Wrestling is stronger than it’s been in 20 years.

Are you ready for Roppongi Vice?

See you in Baltimore on Saturday night!!!
