The People's Champion

Everybody who comes to Cageside Seats has an opinion about what's going on in pro wrestling - The Smark's Shoot Standings (S3) are where YOU let us know YOURS.

Cast a vote in the comments. Give us the four performers you think entertained or impressed the most in the last week, and feel free to talk about why. And/or vote for your top performer in our poll.

We also have the outcome of last week's voting, the results of which make up our annual competition for Performer of the Year.

Remember, the Standings are for the previous week’s nationally televised and internet streaming pro wrestling shows - WWE’s Starrcade Network special, the Dec. 2 episode of Monday Night Raw, Tuesday’s Impact, AEW DARK & NWA Powerrr, Dynamite & NXT from Wednesday, Thursday’s NXT UK & Beyond’s Uncharted Territory, SmackDown & 205 Live on Friday, EVOLVE 142, this week’s ROH TV & MLW Fusion, and any other televised or internet streaming wrestling that aired from Dec. 1 - 7, 2019.

Make YOUR mark, smarks!

This was far from the only reason he won, or that the Panama City Playboy finished fourth...

... but we’re pretty much never going to pass up an excuse to post it.

  • The Limitless One’s rise also led to slightly less basking in The Nightmare’s glory, but she continued her rise at Survivor Series and the on the fallout episode of NXT, too.
  • Not even the red lights could keep The Fiend’s successful title defense over The Beard out of your Standings, although the new belt and haircut undoubtedly had something to do with it, too.
  • KO, like many of us. has had enough of Seth, The Big Dog defended his yard in the Battle for Brand Supremacy™, and even before he won the belt, the new U.S. Champ almost slayed The Beast.
  • He’s number 8 here, but number 1 in AEW’s men’s ranking.
