Bayley knocking the mic out of Charlotte Flair’s hand is everything.
What started as the first one on one face-off between Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair since WrestleMania 35, quickly evolved into Bayley’s coming out party.
After what has felt like years of the 29-year-old going through the motions on the main roster, all it took was one small interaction and a hell of a match to get Bayley back to feeling real again.
It really was Bayley’s best match in years.
Sure Bayley lost and Charlotte Flair earned a title shot versus Becky Lynch at Money in the Bank, but maybe the NXT version of The Hugger is bubbling back to the surface. In the end, Bayley’s best place is the role of underdog chasing the title.
Was tonight (Apr. 23) just a one off or does WWE have a renewed interest in Bayley?
