Hope you bought it while you could. Because according to a report from bodyslam.net, it’s gone because WWE sent Dax Harwood & Cash Wheeler of FTR (who used to work for the company as The Revival’s Scott Dawson & Dash Wilder) a cease and desist letter.
The shirt was based on designs used as part of Vince McMahon’s infamous pitch to transform the old school rasslin tag team into a comedy act, as Wheeler & Harwood described here.
It’s the second cease and desist letter FTR allegedly received this week. An indie duo who use the name “The Revolt” took issue with the Top Guys implying that was what the “TR” in their name stood for.
Can they just show up at Double or Nothing tonight so we can get back to talking about how good they are at pro wrestling?
