  1. Do you think deporting is right, I've seen this floating around debate websites, so I thought I'd give it a go here. This is a sub-section of the immigration debate (something I'll try to post at a later date).

My views - I think it is in only a select few cases. The first being if the person being deported is a dangerous criminal. Deporting them back to their homeland is the easiest way to solve the problem. Deporting them in tight conditions, to make sure they're brought to justice.

I personally find it to be a horrible move to deport someone without proper paperwork, who is here illegally. Basically the Mexican's running away from their settled lives to escape the Mexican Drug War. That's like throwing an alcoholic into a bar, and locking them in. Just doesn't seem right to deport 'refugees.'

    What are your views.
  2. Only deport if they have a violent criminal record

  3. I think it depends really. If a person is escaping to save his life or the lives of his family, I think the US should at least work something out. At the same time, letting anyone in leaves room for more drugs and guns, and other issues into the country, which we already have enough of. Background checks would need to be done and that would mean the tax papers will be funding it. It is all win/lose.
  4. And tax payers will fund deportation as well.
  5. It seems we are damned if we do damned if we don't. Tis politics.
