News Fired from SmackDown, KO may be teasing a very interesting move

WWE.com hasn’t been able to get either Kevin Owens or Shane McMahon to comment on Shane firing KO at the end of SmackDown last night (Sept. 10). But Owens has fired off a couple tweets which have kicked the old speculation machine into high gear.

Internet code crackers point out the 14th, 24th, and 20th letters of the alphabet are N-X-T. Kev’s not usually one to speak in code, but with next week’s move to a live show on cable, and a head-to-head ratings war with AEW coming a couple weeks after that... having the former Universal champ show up would grab some headlines.

KO has a ton of history on the black-and-gold brand, too. Not only is he a former champion, but he has a ton of friends on the current NXT roster. Like Adam Cole of Undisputed ERA, and this guy in his second post-firing tweet:
