  1. Q1: Impact opened with a 1.11 rating for the Wrestler of the Year announcement, a follow-up involving Jeff Hardy, Austin Aries and Bobby Roode, and half of a commercial, which helped the Q1 rating. This was the highest Q1 rating of the two-hour era. The start of a new year and the possibility of a quick 1.3.13 reveal seemed to get people to their TVs on-time, which was not the case with the earlier timeslot in 2012.

Q2: Impact dipped to a 1.05 rating for James Storm vs. Kazarian, an Aces & Eights video, and one-and-a-half commercials, which affected the Q2 rating.

Q3: Impact increased slightly to a 1.08 rating for D.O.C. calling out Sting, a quick cut-away to a commercial without any follow-up afterwards, and Kid Kash vs. Christian York.

Q4: Impact dipped to a show-low 0.99 rating for Joey Ryan vs. Hernandez, Garett Bischoff & Wes Brisco backstage with Kurt Angle & Samoa Joe, and two full commercial breaks, which affected the Q4 rating.

Q5: Impact jumped to a show-high 1.31 rating for an in-ring promo involving Hulk Hogan, Bully Ray and Brooke Hogan. There was also a commercial break followed by a Joseph Park training video leading into the Knockouts match. Much like Q1, the hope of a new year and potential reveal of 1.3.13 at the top of the second hour seemed to attract TNA's late-comers who tune in at 9:00 pm EST for the former first hour/new second hour.

Q6: Impact dipped to a 1.23 rating for Tara & Gail Kim vs. Mickie James & Miss Tessmacher, plus one mid-match commercial.

Q7: Impact dipped to to a 1.16 rating for the steel cage being set up, Hogan arguing with Aries and Roode in his office, main event ring introductions, and the first minute of the main event, plus one commercial break.

Q8: Impact increased to a 1.21 rating for Samoa Joe & Kurt Angle vs. Aces & Eights in a steel cage, plus one commercial. The segment also featured Sting casually returning to TV as the payoff to the 1.3.13 item hyped throughout the show. This was the highest-rated Q8 segment since August 23.

  2. Nice. :obama: Of course it figures the show-high rating would come at the time they had the BS dramatic bit of love story going on.
  3. #Bullynation
Knockouts match is up there yet again.
  4. Highest Q1 in years, wow.

    And highest Q8 since August.

That's what promoting and hyping does, TNA.
