  2. Nice!

Speaking of CMLL and AAA, gotta find time to watch all that stuff regularly.
  3. Huh. Didn't see that coming.
  4. It's literally never boring in lucha libre.

  5. This is great news, another jump (hopefully) to CMLL. Would recommend anyone to start watching right away, it's as hot as it's ever been down there.
  6. You're the first one I have seen who describes CMLL as "on fire".

CMLL from what I can gather from frequenting other forums with a lot more lucha coverage than ourselves, are in a bit of a rut from a booking perspective. I've seen Mistico described as a short term solution.
  7. CMLL has been in a rut since 1992, but just because AAA is more mainstream and making more money doesn't mean it's product is better. Anivesario out-did TripleMania, by a long shot. Sin Limite is boring af, while GDR and their other free shows are just gold. CMLL is an all-round better product than AAA. And it really kicked into high gear, over the last year or so.
  8. I think he meant match quality. At least I hope that's what he meant.

Ringwork wise, CMLL's always been better than AAA, simply due to brute force of airing much more stuff from their B and C-shows. All you can see from AAA is their Saturday weeklie and 5 PPVs. It's a numbers game, plain and simple. Business wise, AAA's been hotter for fucking years now, hence why Alberto and Mistico ended up there and not back in CMLL, hence why such names as Hijo del Fantasma, Averno, Texano and Goya Kong jumped. But I guess three consecutive big Aniversario gates have softened Paco Alonso to the point he's ready to bury the hatchet with anyone from the blacklist. Don't be surprised if even Hijo del Santo returns, lol.

    This however, is bollocks:
  9. That's what I meant. In-ring wise CMLL tops AAA.

Also, Sin Limite has great shows, some times. But a lot of the them aren't on-par when CMLL's shows. imho.
  10. Every post-TM Sin Limite was better than every CMLL show from the same period, except for Aniversario.

    - On the heels of Místico/Myzteziz showing up without warning at a CMLL show at Arena Mexico, more news is coming slowly out of Mexico. Now according to Dave Meltzer, his two brothers who have been working as regular AAA performers are now gone from the company as well. The word going around is that Místico had been talking to guys in the AAA locker room, trying to coax them into following him over to CMLL. Right now the thought is that not many, if any, will follow his lead and make a jump to CMLL. The general consensuses with him going from the top Técnico in AAA to perhaps the number three, is that he would rather be a huge fish in a smaller pond, leading him to make the move back to his former home of CMLL.
  12. Cheap move, Myzteziz. You should never have to worry about a mole in your locker room, to lure away talent. Really cheap move on part of Myzteziz and CMLL.
  13. This is how new promotions are formed. This is how AAA was formed.
  14. That^

New Japan was founded by Inoki planning a takeover of the Japanese Wrestling Association, Dragon Gate was founded by Ultimo's students kicking him out. And then there's McMahon strong arming the territories into submission
  15. Original Mistico/Original Sin Cara/Myzteziz has a new name - Mistic 2.0. No joke. He actually took that name.

    History of names:

  16. Apparently he still thinks he can get the Sin Cara name from the WWE as well.

I wouldn't be so sure on that, m8
