  1. When I connect my headphones to my laptop, it won't let through any sound. It goes straight through my speakers. Someone a tip?

  2. try this?
  3. My headphones won't pop up in the devices screen..
  4. How old is the headphones?
  5. 3 months. Beats By Dre Solo headphones.

My other headphones didn't work either. But when I plug them into my phone, they work fine. But both headphones won't be found in my device screen.
  6. Did you try it in a different computer or maybe on phone to see if it works?
  7. Don't have an other computer here. But they work fine on my phone, but not on my laptop.. And they don't pop up in the device screen. They always worked before..
  8. Go to the control panel, then to hardware and sound, then sound. You should see something called manage audio devices or Recordings tab. Plug in your headphones and see if they show up.

Just this bro, it states that only my speakers are there..
  10. That means the mic port on your laptop is most likely broken. That or the plug for the headphones.
  11. Pretty obv that the headphones port is dicked up on the laptop.
  12. Ahh fuck me.. Damn, is that shit so fragile? Can I fix it myself or should I go to an expert?
  13. Depends. If it's the headphones themselves who are broken then buy new. If it is the computer then go to a expert. Laptops are a little bitch to fix.
  14. The headphones work fine in my phone, they are 3 months old.. I'll see what I can do, thanks guys! :otunga:
