Kota Ibushi is nursing an ankle injury which was from the match he had with KENTA. He's still scheduled to wrestle his matches in the G1.

Quick non-spoiler, Day 2 was a lot of fun, though may go down as one of the weaker days in the G1 with 3 three star matches if you go by that.

Roughly 3 matches felt like basic baby face/heel stuff, but the styles of everyone was so different that they felt very fresh. I LOVE how the matches - even the other 7 - feel so different

With the loss of Jim Ross & Josh Barnett on the play-by-play commentary I would think NJPW would miss a beat but they haven't. The new commentators Kevin Kelly, Don Callis, Chris Charlton, and Rocky Romero have done a good job of filling in the void left by Ross and Barnett.

I watched the Tomohiro Ishii vs. Taichi match for Taichi's NEVER Openweight title at Dominion. Taichi showed a surprisingly hard-hitting style in this match. Normally, he's the cowardly heel who bends the rules to get the win but he fought toe-to-toe with Tomohiro.

Liger's retirement tour continues with a New Japan vs. All Japan six-man tag match. In the November 15th Dick Beyer memorial show, Jushin Thunder Liger will team-up with Keiji Mutoh and Kento Miyahara against Sanada, Bushi, and Kai.

Moxley is scheduled to wrestle Juice Robinson on October 14th at King of Pro Wrestling for the US title. After that match, Moxley would like to take on Minoru Suzuki.

Finished watching Destruction in Beppu and have to say it was decent. It did have a few good matches like Suzuki-gun multi-man match and the main event was good even though ZSJ winning the belt from Tanahashi in this short of time makes no sense as to why he won it at Royal Quest. Also watched Destruction in Kagoshima, and for the first time, I thought it was just an average show with the main highlight being Suzuki and Liger. The main event, which was KENTA v Kota, was not very good and felt very WWE-esque. Overall, Beppu gets a 7/10 and Kagoshima gets a 5/10

Destruction in Kobe was great. Jushin revealing Kishin was amazing and the fact everybody was afraid of him made it awesome. Also, if you don't know who Kinshin he is Jushin alter persona who is just pure evil and amazing, so I am ready fo that match between him and Suzuki. The other matches were good Goto v Shingo was really good as it showed what two powerhouses could do. Naito v Jay was amazing. Jay was really heeling everything up and his taunting was great. The match itself was very good and I would consider it one of Jay's better matches he has had. Also, they are setting Goto v Jay for the belt and that is great and if Goto wins, I will fangirl like crazy. Overall, a solid 8/10
