First off, greetings and blessings to all. I'm new to the community ans love the discussions.

My first question to you is, should WWE go back to the hard rock/metal theme songs to sponsor Pay Per Views? Personally, some songs WWE chooses, really diminish the big fight feel some shows should have. For example, WWE used a song by Demi Lovato as its official theme for Summerslam 2015. While a minimal flaw for some, it completely deflated any excitement I had about the show.

If you plan to promote a card for a show presentation is everything. From 2000 to 2008, every PPV felt exciting to me in part to the music and presentation in WWE's video packages and theme songs. Granted, times have changed and you want to appeal to every demographic. However, some songs just do not fit certain Pay Per View cards. Again, presentation is Everything.

Do you all agree? Please let me know what you think. I look forward to many more discussions.

Nick.

Vince is marketing more on the mainstream side these days to make wrestling more of a mainstream topic. Not to say it isn't but by using "common" music most people recognize, it helps to sell the product. While most of what they have used as of late has been horrible (specially Flo Rida) I can see why he does it.

On the flip side, rock and all branches of rock would work much better to me. The indies still stick to this and it works great.
