Kenny! Kenny! Kenny! Kenny Omega finally won and defeated Okada and that is music to my ears. Also, Suzuki-gun winning their matches is great as well, and Jericho basically being the American Shinsuke winning against Naito was great as well. Overall, this was amazing show the wrestling and the stories it told were on point and I never felt bored of it, Okada vs Omega was everything I could have thought of as well as Jericho vs Naito and most of the matches that happened. I originally gave it a 8/10, but more I thought of it and went back and looked at my notes I had to change it to a 10/10 for me.

  4. I won't lose sleep over it being spoiled actually. I can enjoy all of these guys wrestling matches even if I know how it turned out.

  5. Wait how did I spoil it when you posted the results, lol.

  6. I didn't post the results. I posted the link to an article that had the results but I didn't read the article.

But you didn't spoil it really. You posted a comment in a thread about the event. That's perfectly fine. I could have avoided looking so technically you didn't spoil it, I did.

  7. I mean you will just hate this event because Okada finally lost, lol.

  8. Not really. I am a huge Kenny Omega fan too. Not only that, but Okada just had the longest IWGP title reign in history as well as holding the title for more days.

Besides, it was way past time anyway. I would always be happy if Okada is champion, but it's not necessary. Plus, we know he'll get it back eventually.

  9. @Emperor Blizzard why did you rate that funny? I was really serious.

  10. It was a joke because I know how big of a Okada fan you are though what can I except from someone who is a Hangman Page fan as well. Yeah, I knew he has the longest region as IWGP Champion.

Yeah, Okada is the Japanese Roman, but 10 times better, and will always get a title shot no matter what, lol.

Because I found some it funny. Is that a problem?

  11. I wasn't informing you of those things because you didn't know them. I was telling you why it didn't bother me that Okada lost. I can't make a case for why it didn't bother me without telling you why.

You're right but the Roman comparison :emoji_stuck_out_tongue:

No need to be defensive. I wasn't making a accusation or said it was a problem. I simply asked you why you rated it that way. It was a valid question I was curious about.

If I had a problem, I would have told you.

  12. Again, I was making a joke, but I once said Okada sucked in your live stream and you was like Boy, don't come in here saying that about Okada, so again I was trying to make joke. Also, I could already guess why it didn't bug you, but thanks for informing me.

Lol, I just mean he will always get a title shot no matyer what.

I wasn't being defenseive, it is just that sometimes when people say something serious I find it funny because of like a sentence or two, you know. I mainly found it funny because I read a lot of it in a sarcastic voice and\or in a nonchalant voice.

  13. @Jacob Fox you know you have 3/10 on the twice right?

  14. I've only seen Omega/Okada so far and it was as great as expected. Kenny Omega finally winning the IWGP heavyweight title after so many instant classics turned out incredible, even visually it seemed like he wasn't just exhausted from this match, but his entire series of matches against Okada and it's a chapter he can finally look past.
One thing I will say, is that I'm not the biggest fan of these V-trigger, dropkick, V-trigger, dropkick, V-trigger, dropkick exchanges towards the end of the match. I get it, they're trying to get across that both of them are worn out and can't do much more but if you have the energy to hit the same move 5 times in a row, what are you really selling for? To me it just kinda seemed like a mixture of kids wrestling on a trampoline who don't know any other moves and someone playing a WWE video game where they just keep spamming those same moves over and over again until they get their finisher to end the match. Just a little thing tho, and it's nothing in comparison to all the good in this match

  15. Was a fine show. Kenny vs Okada did not click as well with me as it did most. But I also ain't a fan of super long matches. Different strokes for different folks. It was a good match however just not fully in my taste. And the implications for the main event are obviously huge.

It was cool to see Rey finally compete in New Japan even if it was just a multiman tag.

Desperado might be the most underappreciated junior they have right now. That guy needs a singles run as soon as possible.

  16. Great show, 8/10

First 3 matches were boring, but the rest was great.. Omega finally did it, so happy for him.

    Fuck the Young Bucks
