The last word on Karl Anderson & Luke Gallows was that Impact Wrestling was heavily pursuing the duo and the hope was they would be signed for the upcoming Slammiversary pay-per-view on July 18. That would be right in time for their non-compete from WWE to run out.
Now, Gary Cassidy of Sportskeeda has reported the deal is officially done and the two have signed with the company. Dave Meltzer at the Wrestling Observer has confirmed as much.
The plan, per Cassidy, is for their debut to happen in July, “either at Slammiversary or shortly after.” As first mentioned in the initial report on Impact’s interest, the deal gives Anderson & Gallows the ability to work with New Japan Pro Wrestling once they are able to do so.
Impact hasn’t announced the deal.
