There’s always a lot of curiosity surrounding Undertaker’s annual WrestleMania match, even after his famous undefeated streak was conquered by Brock Lesnar in 2014.
Last year was particularly surprising, as Undertaker wasn’t even booked on the WrestleMania card, and instead wrestled in Saudi Arabia two months later.
But a new report from WrestleZone says that WWE has picked out an opponent for the Dead Man at WrestleMania 36 on Apr. 5 in Tampa, Florida. According to a source that spoke to WrestleZone, that opponent will be AJ Styles.
This would be consistent with Styles’ past WrestleMania bookings, where he’s been matched up with top stars like Chris Jericho, Shane McMahon, Shinsuke Nakamura (hey, he was briefly a top star when their match took place in 2018), and Randy Orton. WWE always places Styles in a high profile singles match at WrestleMania, and it doesn’t get much bigger than going one-on-one with Undertaker.
How do you feel about a potential match between the Dead Man and the Phenomenal One at WrestleMania 36?
