Bully Ray on Twitter
In early June, an interaction between a member of the audience and Velvet Sky’s Allure faction at a Ring of Honor show in Portland, Oregon ended with Sky’s fiance Bully Ray having the fan taken backstage for a private conversation. After the fan, Josh Ketch, told his version of the story on Twitter, the wrestlers involved (Ray, Velvet, Mandy Leon & Angelina Love) all commented on social media. Many - this site included - pointed out the potential issues with not allowing whatever occurred to be addressed by third-party event security, and ROH announced they were looking into it.

The company issued a statement a few days later which basically acknowledged that Ketch should not have been taken backstage, apologized to fans, and said their investigation was ongoing. To all of our loyal and dedicated fans, we apologize for the incident that transpired and we encourage all of our fans to continue attending our events. Furthermore, we promise to continue delivering the best wrestling and the best live experience on the planet. In adherence to Ring of Honor policy, we will not comment further on these matters.

There haven’t been any reports of this impacting Bully Ray’s role in creative/management for the Sinclair Broadcasting-owned promotion, but even if there were, those would be little more than rumors, anyway.
