So the Hulk in Hulk Hogan came from....

  1. ...a local area talk show he was on with Lou Ferrigno? Who, for all you youngins, was the guy playing the incredible hulk in the old 70s tv show. This is from Wikipedia so take it for what you will, but I always wondered if Hogan got that title from the comic book character.

    Hogan appeared on a local talk show, where he sat beside Lou Ferrigno, star of the television series The Incredible Hulk. The host commented on how Terry, who stood 6 ft 7 in (201 cm) and weighed 295 pounds with 24 inch biceps, actually dwarfed "The Hulk."   4. He was first called the Incredible Hulk hogan, but had to drop the incredible due to a warning from Marvel.
