Thanks to Gary for the following WWE NXT spoiler from tonight's tapings at Full Sail University:
    * Solomon Crowe defeated Travis Tyler in the dark match.

    * They are doing a tag team tournament tonight.

    July 31st Episode:

    * Tyler Breeze defeated Angelo Dawkins.

    * Charlotte defeated Becky Lynch in a non-title match.

    * The Ascension defeated a debuting Mac Miles and another wrestler. They then announced a tournament to crown new #1 contenders.

    * Bull Dempsey and Mojo Rawley defeated The Mechanics Scott Dawson.

    * Adam Rose defeated Tyson Kidd. Natalya came out during the match. Some of the NXT Divas and wrestlers were acting as Rosebuds.

    August 7th Episode:

    * Jason Jordan and Tye Dillinger vs. Enzo Amore and Big Cass in a tournament match is up first. Enzo and Cass get the win to advance. They were over big time.

    * CJ Parker defeated Xavier Woods.

    * Bayley defeated Eva Marie. Eva was met with huge heat from the crowd, a really bad experience for her apparently. Bayley got the win with her suplex.

    * Sami Zayn and Adam Rose vs. Tyson Kidd and Justin Gabriel is next for a tournament match. Zayn and Rose win after a running Yakuza kick in the corner.

    August 14th Episode:

    * They are only taping 3 episodes tonight.

    * Bull Dempsey and Mojo Rawley vs. Simon Gotch and Aiden English in a tournament match is next. The Vaudevillians get the win and Bull beats Mojo down after the match.

    * Bayley defeated Sasha Banks with a roll-up to become the new #1 contender. Charlotte came out and shook hands with Bayley on the stage after the match.

    * Sin Cara and Kalisto defeated Buddy Murphy and Wesley Blake in another tournament match.

    * Tyler Breeze vs. Adrian Neville for the NXT Title is next. Tyson Kidd comes out to watch the match and causes a DQ when he interferes. Breeze confronts Tyson and they start brawling. Sami Zayn runs out and everyone fights now. This turns into Kidd and Breeze vs. Sami and Neville. Sami and Neville get the win to end the show.

  2. Bored of the Kidd/Zayn/Neville/Gabriel stuff. Looks bad.
  3. They really need to shape up the Tag division some more. Right now I don't see anyone even coming close to beating The Ascension for the titles. I love The Ascension but it's pretty much all squash matches for them right now.
  4. Which is why they are doing the tournament obviously. Easy way to get some new teams in and allow them to shine :otunga:

My money is on Big Cass and Enzo. Or the team of Sin Cara and Kalisto

  5. Maybe I have an odd view of it- but to me it seems stupid doing a tournament when there's barely even a division. Like there's around four teams that are actually established and then a bunch of newbies shoe-horned into tag teams because they aren't developed enough to be let out solo.
  6. Out of the guys competing so far I can throw out the following full time teams: Vaudevillains, Big Cass and Enzo (I believe they are nicknamed the New York-Jersey connection or something), Tye and Jordan, Cara and Kalisto (tagging on the house show scene for a while) and the Mechanics. Leaving out the Legionaires who have not competed in the tournament (yet?)

There is a depth there. But it's just par of the course with the NXT tag team scene, there are always teams, but as long as the belts are on big heel teams. The other teams are instead locked up in feuds.
  7. Looks like interesting. Worth a look, actually.
  8. I think a tournament is just what they need. I want to get a look at what some of this fresh talent is able to accomplish.
  9. LUCHA LUCHA LUCHA LUCHA LUCHA LUCHA LUCHA LUCHA! But seriously, loving Cara/Kallisto. I'd like to see them have a run at the Tag Team championships!
  10. Tournaments are never a bad thing for young upstarts.
  11. Just read HHH had Solomon Crowe drop the Hacker gimmick since he didn't like it. Could be fake, but that's what I read.
