News Tegan Nox returns to TV one year after devastating MYC injury

She returned to the ring back in July, almost a year after she tore her ACL in the 2018 Mae Young Classic - and two years after she had to bow out of the 2017 edition of that tournament due to a knee injury.

But we hadn’t seen Tegan Nox on our screens... until the episode of NXT UK which premiered today (Sept. 11) on WWE Network. The 24 year old Welshwoman was excited for her debut on the brand, especially since it was taking place in Cardiff:

The fact she was booked against enhancement talent Shax (and spoilers from this post-TakeOver taping) told you how this would go. But it’s still pretty cool to see the Girl With The Shiniest Wizard pick up a win in about 30 seconds with... what else?

NXT UK Women’s champ Kay Lee Ray confronted Nox after the win, so it looks like she’s already found herself smack dab in the middle of a title scene.

And that’s great! If any deserves a “You Deserve It” chant, it’s Tegan.

We know what we want to see soon, though. It’s fitting that both Tegan and a certain trash-talking Aussie who was in the ring with her when she tore her ACL last August both have matches on the Network today, don’t you think?
