You know, I always wished I could find old radio broadcasts of wrestling matches. I'd love to lay down in the dark and just picture what was going on.

+ The 5 on 5 Men's Elimination Match from Survivor Series 2016 +
I absolutely adore this match...mainly because it has so many talented
wrestlers (& Shane McMahon) telling a LONG drawn out story with so
many twists & turns. I have to admit I've watched this match 6 or 7 times
since I bought the DVD & I always watch the follow up match which as we
all know was...

+ Goldberg vs. Brock Lesnar from Survivor Series 2016 +
Its still so awesome...I could watch it on repeat for days.

In fact...watching these matches has inspired me.

I'll get back to you all shorty.

I remember watching this PPV all those years ago, the fued between Kane and Shane was actually great, Kane was a absolute monster, and shane was actually really good! i remember one of the episodes of raw ending with shane knocking kane into a dumpster fire, so good.

So...time for me to be POSITIVE about the WWE Main Roster...

Kind of...

I had read & heard (Thanks to the Solomonster) that there was recently
an incredibly match good match on the July 16th Edition of 205 Live
between Chad Gable & Gentleman Jack Gallagher.

So being a fan of both performers (especially Gentleman Jack) I went
out of my way to...acquire a copy of this episode of 205 Live & watch
this apparently 1st class main event...

And spank Bayley on the Butt & watch it jiggle if it wasn't an absolutely
fantastic match.

No commercial breaks, no "shilling" the WWE Network, no bullshit run
ins or anyone being made to look like a dumb ass...

Just two highly skilled workers telling a great in ring story.

If you have the means I suggest you go & give this match a watch.

It was just great wrestling...& that is something I can enjoy...no matter
what company is serving it up.

Man! I miss old school Rock. " YOUR BALL HEADED DOUBLE STUNNING CANDY ASS BELONGS TO THE ROCK!!!" ....Great Childhood
Even tho it was very stupid to turn Austin heel in this match, it's still a classic

+ Randy Orton vs. Jinder Mahal from Backlash 2017 +

Jinder winning the title still makes me smile...

Its just a shame his reign went on for far too long &
it didn't really achieve its main goal.

+ Ric Flair vs. Terry Funk from The Great American Bash 1989 +

This was just a wild & intense brawl that was set up by Funk
attacking Flair after his victory over Ricky Steamboat at WrestleWar.

The crowd was SO into it & seeing Flair as a babyface was weird
to me as I've always been told he worked mostly as a heel "back
in the day"

Like I said the match wasn't a technical masterpiece...but the
intensity was off the charts with the crowd seemingly invested
in every single move. Both men bled (I do enjoy a bit of "color"
in my wrestling as you all know) after a "branding iron" shot &
the finish was somewhat "scrappy" but did the job.

The aftermath of the match was the Great Muta entering the
ring to help Funk beat down Flair...only for "Surfer" Sting to make
the save as all four men continued to brawl through the crowd
while Jim Ross & Bob Caudle tried to actually "end" the pay per
view.

Flair cut a great promo covered in blood & green mist/paint stating
he wasn't finished with Funk yet (as well as thanking Sting for his
help..."I have not said thank you to anyone in 10 years *Turns to
Sting*
THANK YOU!") & I'm guessing this leads into their famous
"I Quit" Match...which I shall have to watch next.

I know I'm going to sound old when I say this...but these old school
wrestling matches/events just seem better than what is served up
these days...& honestly...I think its mainly due to the crowds.

Seriously the energy & enthusiasm of the old crowds is fantastic
& it really enhances the event...even when watching it "at home"
20+ years later.

This match was a lot of fun to watch & I am desperate to get my
hands on a copy of the The Great American Bash 1989 so I can
watch the entire show from start to finish.

I give Flair vs. Funk at The Great American Bash a Double Thumbs Up!

KENTA vs. Bad Luck Fale in the G1. KENTA looked good in this match, using Katsuyori Shibata's old missile dropkick.
