Who was the last heel you legitimately despised?

  1. We were all marks at one point, who was the last heel you seriously didn't like? I think mine were JBL and Regal. I hated the idea of out-of-shape heels at the time (I was quite young and they weren't exactly beefed up). It's funny since both of those are apart of my all time favourite list now, but at the time I really didn't like them at all.

    What about you?

  3. May seem odd but Punk in 09, I loved him for making me want to gouge his eyes out. One of the few people who got under my skin (wasn't a mark and loved him for his ROH work but still it was a master stroke when feuding with Jeff.)
  4. CM Punk disgusts me so much I won't even watch his tattered, delusional, skinny a** ranting on my television.

If Punk were bigger, it wouldn't matter. CM Punk looks like 'that guy'.... you know 'that guy' that works at Wal-Mart, but lives under a bridge

For everything Miz may be, he dresses like a million bucks. He's small, can walk the street and look like he has a job.

Shame, cause 'Straight edge' works when you don't look like an absolute piece of garbage

  5. I hated heel Sheamus too thinking about it. Really hated him.
  6. The Great Muhammed Hassan. Just awful from every aspect

It ruined him and it probably wasn't his fault but I HATED whoever gave him the terrorist angle. If i recall it had something to do with London and terrorist attacks or something
  7. Randy Orton circa '09. Was a mark then.
  8. Might seem like a stupid question but... What the hell is a mark exactly?

Mine would have to be Right to Censor back in the days. I enjoy seeing almost naked women fight each other, and they were trying to change that. Then they took one of my favorite women to look at, Ivory, and changed her. Then they took the pimp Godfather and changed him into the Goodfather. What!?! No more hoe train? Suck ass Steven Richards.

Mark: insider term used to describe fans within the professional wrestling business. Any person in the wrestling business who doesn't know how to separate their "gimmick" and "real life" is also a mark.

  10. Usually it's the people who think wrestling is real.
  11. same tbh
  12. Last heel I hated was JBL because he had a boring championship reign and he kept beating Eddie Guerrero (who i was a mark for). When Cena took down JBL I then became a Cena mark, which was a very dark period in my life. I had his merchandise :upset:
  13. See by the time we got JBL i stopped hating heels.
  14. I know what it feels like
  15. My girlfriend is a Cena mark.
  16. :eww: God bless you
  17. Out of curiosity, why don't we have the term smark on that list?

And as for the question at hand, their has only been ONE heel I ever legitimately despised, and in the way WWE intends (i.e. love to hate; keeps you watching because you want to see him get his just deserts . . . not the Vickie ones which just get me to watch something different entirely), and that is none other than King Booker. I really couldn't stand that gimmick but it kept me coming back, and now looking back I have fond memories of it because it was able to get me invested in a way I never had before (since I've always preferred the bad guys) and probably never will again. Shout out to Queen Sharmell too. Her persistence of saying "All Hail King Booker" for 80% of Smackdown's air time was crucial to me taking an disliking to the character.
