RING OF HONOR is set to return to the Lone Star State! We are coming to San Antonio for 2 full nights of the best professional wrestling on the planet when ROH presents ALL STAR EXTRAVAGANZA II WEEKEND on Friday, September 18th and Saturday, September 19th! ALL STAR EXTRVAGANZA is an event renowned for world-class talent and incredible championship challenges. This year, all the fallout from ASE VII will spill over into a gigantic ROH TV taping on Saturday night!

The ROH World Television Champion vs. TAKAAKI WATANABE

At ALL STAR EXTRAVAGANZA, current champion Jay Lethal WILL defend his title against Bobby Fish! We won't know Watanabe's opponent for Saturday until the dust has cleared from that match. Whoever walks out of ASE VI as Television Champion will have to defend it the very next night! If that man is Bobby Fish, he'll be coming off what was no doubt a battle with Lethal. But if Jay Lethal retains, he'll be recovering from a guaranteed TWO matches the night before, as Kyle O'Reilly gets his World Championship opportunity. But these are the risks Jay Lethal took when he bragged to Nigel McGuinness that he could be a better champion - period - than anyone else in ROH and refused to surrender one of his titles.

Watanabe has been on fire since returning to ROH in May! He's been picking up not only victories, but confidence and aggression, culminating with winning a Gauntlet Match at FIELD OF HONOR to earn this championship opportunity. And the ROH faithful have noticed, cheering for him more and more every match. But rumor has it NJPW has noticed too, and they are also impressed with the progression of Watanabe! It would be a MAJOR development for him to return to Japan with the ROH World Television Championship!
