WM31 Poster advertises The Rock, Lesnar and Batista

  1. WWE WrestleMania 31 will take place on March 29th, 2015 in Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California. The stadium's official website, LevisStadium.com, has launched a subsite for WrestleMania 31 and features a poster of Brock Lesnar, Dave Batista, and Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson.

    Hmmmmm.... Part Timers FTW!

    WTF is WWE thinking?
  2. Looks like a custom one they made to advertise the event, it looks too lq even for WWE's standards.

  3. Ugly ass picture of Batista.
  4. lowest quality poster I've seen since the Bully Ray one for the NYC tapings.
  5. Really?

    Exhibit A (open)

    Exhibit B (open)
  6. Who are these cats employing to do their web design? You're hosting WrestleMania 31.
There are basement dwellers who can do far better.
  7. Well, the poster sucks. Rock and Batista taking up main event spots would suck, too.
  8. If The Rock is in his ring gear that must mean he intends to wrestle a match. (For WM 27, he was shown wearing a suit on the poster.)
The Rock wants to wrestle Roman Reigns. Considering the Rock never got his WWE title rematch, it may be a Triple Threat at Mania.
  9. Oh no, part-timers WM. As long as they put over new guys, I guess it'll be fine. Also, that logo. Horrendous.

  10. And I thought 29 was bad. :boss:

  11. A bad logo to suit the bad #TwiceinaLifetime. WWE's false advertising with WM28 though.
  12. I guess smarks are tired of Rock's act.

  13. God, how WrestleMania 29 drew more than 30 still blows my ever living fuck.

  15. I always knew he was a TNA agent trying to sabotage the WWE, well done.

  16. This doesn't look like WWE's work at all lol. And even if it were, The Rock and Brock Lesnar being on the poster shouldn't surprise anyone. They're WWE's two biggest draws and a big part of the spectacle of Wrestlemania now is getting to watch special attractions (or part timers, if you will) such as these guys perform. It'd be more surprising if they weren't on the poster. Batista doesn't really belong there, but they (pretending that this poster is actually real for a moment) maybe feel he can attract more eyes to the product after obtaining some Hollywood buzz around him due to the release of his movie. Otherwise, it's just them slapping a random third person on there with Rock and Brock (they could have chose Cena, but then that would have been the same exact poster they released for Wrestlemania 29.)

Did it? WWE claimed that between the number of people who ordered it on PPV and those who subscribed to the Network that it technically became the "most watched Wrestlemania in history." If 29 did outdraw 30, then the answer obviously lies in the fact that The Rock was booked on the card for 29 but not 30.
  17. WrestleMania's Wikipedia said it's the highest grossing pro wrestling PPV in history.
  18. I'm pretty sure they're talking about the overall gross when you account for both the buy rate as well as the money made at the event itself (ticket sales, merchandise, etc.) In terms of buy rate alone though, Wrestlemania 28 is still the highest (30 is considered the highest only because they're counting all the people who subscribed to the Network) with 1.3 million buys. I think 29 falls somewhere around the #4 or #5 spot in terms of the overall list.
  19. Man, fuck that shit! I'd rather see Punk/Bryan/Reigns poster instead of those 3. I hope it doesn't come to that. Part timers should not be in the ME, it's a slap in the face to all of the guys who work full schedule.
  20. Pfft, it doesn't have Sandow featured on it so it has to be fake :emoji_stuck_out_tongue:

I hope Goldberg vs Sandberg is planned!
