Yeah, Lana's the reason I even bothered watching Rusev's segments.
I always figured Lana would end up receiving the bigger push than Rusev would in the long run anyway. I think Rusev could still end up doing pretty well for himself as a powerhouse in the undercard, though. He could even still be built up as a one-month challenger for a babyface WWE Champion (Roman Reigns, etc.) to retain against, or as a random one-off opponent for Brock Lesnar to plow through at some point. I wouldn't really consider him dead in the water just yet (despite the fact that his whole anti-American character was clearly built up from day one as an opponent for Cena to eventually run through.)
