Would you name your child after a wrestler?

  1. Hypothetical question, of course, unless any of you are expecting a little one. Would you ever consider naming your child after one of your favorite wrestlers? I have 3 little ones (yes, really) and none of them are named specifically after a favorite wrestler, but my fiance and I were considering it for our newest little boy.
  2. Which?
  3. Congrats on your boy, Jesse!

To answer your question... Sure, why not :)
  4. My son is called Chris Benoit

  6. I'd call my son Ron Simmons for his first and middle name. Isn't really a bad name at all.

  7. If I'd had another kid I could have named him Vader. That way I get both wrestling AND Star Wars covered. :woohoo:

  9. 'Vampiro' ain't bad either. 'The Romantic Touch' has a nice ring to it, too.
  10. I'll go with Pegasus or Faarooq Assad.

  11. Maybe if I lived in an English-speaking country.
  12. Did you watch Raw after Mania? All of those marks would.
  13. Congratulations! To answer your question, I wouldn't, but i see no harm in doing so. Unless you go ahead and call your kid Y2J then maybe that's taking the step over normal and jumping straight into obsessive haha!
  14. Not unless there were to be a wrestler named "Wacokid27".

  15. I would never, ever name my child after something wrestling related, you'd have to be obsessed with wrestling to do something like that, it's your child after all... If it's the same name as a wrestler that's fine, but if someone named their child after a wrestler solely because they were a fan, that's a bit weird.

  17. I wouldn't, if for no other reason than my wife probably not going with it. I'm not sure I would though, I would want my kid to "blend" in in terms of not giving them anymore reason to be made fun of other than those that kids these days find.

  18. Haha! I would have to agree, I don't think my girlfriend would approve of any "unusual" names especially pertaining to wrestling. I'm not sure I would name my kid after a wrestler anyways, but I just can't see my significant other going for it.
  19. I wouldn't, but "hunter" would be my choice if it was either a wrestler's name or death by fire. Hunter is damn fine name, and triple h is god, so...
