  1. Alright lads

I know we have had our differences but this is something we can all agree on. who is sick of being judged just beacue we are wrestling fans.

I am sick of being called a nerd when people say I like wrestling, or people say not to mention it in front of the fruit booties. I mean look at this that was posted about wrestling fans on a site I saw today

    Its not on lads

  2. I'm with you mate.

I don't tell people I'm a wrestling because I fear discrimination too. Never had a friend that I can talk about wrestling with in-depth besides on this forum.
  3. exactly, what sort of like is it to live

i stop caring and so should you, i make a pint to tell everyone i know I love wrestling thesedays. poon or no poon
  4. It was my mates who got me in to wrestling in the first place so I don't have a problem talking about it. I will happily go out in public wearing a WWE shirt, people can judge but at the end of the day, it's unlikely i'm going to encounter the same people every day (I am talking about on the street, unless they live on/near the street of course).
  5. Only close family members like my Dad and Sister know that I watch wrestling, and also my girlfriend mate. It's a judgmental world.
  6. dont give a shit

break out your shell lad and be a proper man
  7. I'm quite the opposite, i'd be surprised if somebody who knew me didn't know I liked wrestling. I just rise above the judgment! :russo:
  8. It's typical of so many people to have double standards in one way or another. Don't let them get to you.
  9. I will try from now on mate, might get a poster for my room.
  10. Look at what they did to this guy, absolute disgrace, we should be helping him out lads,

  11. My mates all know I'm a wrestling fan. Some take the piss but nothing serious just standard banter. Others don't say anything it doesn't bother me either way. Some are getting back into watching it via my love of it also. Its all gravy.
  12. There is no such thing as discrimination against wrestling fans. Now, let me sit back and enjoy this thread.

  16. the definition of discrimination is "An unjust or prejudicial distinction in the treatment of different categories of people or things, especially on the grounds of race, sex, or age."
There's no such thing as discrimination over a hobby. At least in the dictionary.

  17. You just took the discrimination to a whole new low, Sycosis.
  18. I can't go as low as you.

  19. No one can. :haha:
  20. Surely from that dictionary definition a wrestling fan is technically a category of people as in wrestling fans. Plus unjust treatment would be calling them a twat or regarding them as a geek for liking wrestling. So surely that could be deemed discrimination?
